@Xenotron: Can you link to an earlier trailer/tv spot where she said "stop [b]them[/b]" instead of "stop [i]it[/i]?"

What if she is saying "If we don't stop them, there will be no home TOBACCO" Honestly they are fighting for their lives and Shaw is just worrying about stopping at the Duty Free shop!!!!!

Ok, so she does say "them" instead of "it", but even so, I wouldn't get all worked up about it. It means that they filmed multiple takes of the same scene and decided to use one take in one trailer and a different one in the other. That's all. Movies do this all the time with their trailers. The Avengers had a different take between film and trailer of the "billionaire, genius, playboy, philanthropist" line that changed the context of the scene. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull had a different take between the film and trailer for the "part time" line, too. All that to say there's no guarantee which will be said in the final product. I wouldn't read between the lines too much; you'll make yourself crazy.

@xenotron... I just thought it was interesting, no need to be a dick about it... Maybe if i went into a long explanation about xenos evolving from badgers and the enginers are really mice maybe I wouldnt get shot down so fast... Haha

If me trying to settle you down about one word change in a trailer makes me a dick, I can live with that. All I'm saying is that there's a simpler explanation to these things than "OMG what does it mean?" I think I'm just tired and maybe annoyed of people gushing about things on this board; I do get annoyed easily...

Stop IT would possibly mean a SHIP? ... Stop THEM would possibly mean either CREW or the SJ's? ... She does say that sentence out of shot on both occasions ... so I reckon neither are the correct sentence that goes with 'there won't be any home to go back to' ... I think Shaw says both IT & THEM but in different contexts ... and sentences ... maybe ...

Oh, yeah. Just to clarify... Tobacco is completely out of the question in this movie. I'm afraid it's all hallucinogens, folks... Sorry. What with the Hot-Boxophagus and all...
