Don't confuse prometheus with Aliens!

Prometheus is a stand alone movie....created for everyone to enjoy....(well those above 13 or 15 or whatever the rules are in your country) Point is if u have never seen Alien before or any of the sequels...The plot of Prometheus should still make perfect sense...for those whom are Alien fanboys (like myself)....we cannot seriously expect fox and Ridley to spend 150 million dollars on a movie that's purely made for fans and also has a plot that ties directly to a film made 33 yrs ago....with a R rating on top of that!??? The general public does'nt give a shit where the derelict ship or the eggs came from..period! So just a quick reality check...forget about Alien...this is a new story only set in the same universe....it's not gonna fully cater for the hardcore Alien fan that's seen the classic like a 100 times!
