I hope we get to see Tentacle monster vs Weyland monster. AVP sucks, this is about how the mommy and daddy met originally to create a being the Engineers purposely hybridize their monsters away from, in an attempt to never meet the thing they combine to form again.

AVP was fine, it was just a silly monster mashup movie is all, not to be taken seriously. Dan O'Bannon wrote the screenplay for AVP and he was no dummy. AVPRequiem was a disgrace though. >.>

@Svanya - I agree with you. I never considered AvP as anything more than a take-off from the Dark Horse comic series it was inspired by. No connection to the Ridley/Cameron universe whatsoever.

I have an idea about Alien Vs. Predator that I'm going to post as a thread.

It's a different alien altogether (xenomorph, whatever). The logical conclusion is that there was one more than species on that Derelict, the Engineers are neutral and this new species (the tentacle thing) is the antagonist. Makes the most sense.

Well there are a certain sect of fans on here who always jump on the link of no.... Xenomorph..... sorry but that does not add up to Lindelof and Ridleys comments.... in particular.... Movie is about the Progentitor (Lindelof) Movie is where Mommy meets Daddy (Ridley Scott) Ridley also said that at the end of the movie we will get a explaination and tie in (may not be very obvious, may be vague) but he has said that Alien Fanboys will get their wish and leave happy, and latest comments are when we see those last 8 mins after we would say "Christ, i get it now" in regards to tie in to Alien. What we must be looking at its the Progentior/Proto Xeno. like it or not, i think thats the case.... but this does not mean we will see THE XENOMORPH Maybe what we see is simular to this.... Thats not to say that Shaws Baby ends up giving birth to the Xeno.... maybe it would imply that the Gentics of Shaws Baby can be traced to the Gentics of the Xeno. Thus it is not the Proto Xeno or becomes on, just that they both start off from the same/simular creation process. Thus how a Snake and a Lizzard are both Reptiles and at some point evolved from the same thing, but are not connected directly.

Oh as far as the movie goes, i had heard of two so called screening viewers in LA (one posted on here) The one hints that Shaws Baby grows up to something simular and familiar with the Xeno Cycle but also at same time does it in a different way. The other claims that Shaws Baby grows up to be well kind of like a Proto FaceHugger more than Proto Xeno, but he said that at the end of the movie we will see something we would link to the orginal Alien. This tells me if they are telling the truth that something the Tentacle monster does, makes something we are familair with.... Does Cuddles give the Engineer some Face Love...... Would it imply that the Proto Xenos Parents are Cuddles and the Engineer? Thus Grandmother is Shaw and Grandad is infected Holloway? I guess we would find out soon enough.
