with those spoilers out there? you can count me out

Haven't really seen any spoilers in the reviews, either. I suppose the only thing that was a bit of a confirmation is that Fassbender dominates the movie. But many suspected that already.

It's not the reviews it's the people on this forum that have seen the movie as of yesterday. Soon to be more people in 4 days. I am glad you guys haven't seen a real spoiler yet, means the staff are doing their jobs. :P

Yep me too, not reading them, Im avoiding EmpireOnline (may typical review site) dont wanna know what their verdict is till iv got my own.

I just had the movie ruined because I went to moderate a thread.. UK staff, you guys are gonna have to do double shifts after this weekend! I only get to see it on the 8th..

I actually envy US fans, they get the extra week of excitement and anticipation, wants ive seen it I hope to be greatly satisfied but the anticipation will be gone. I love looking forward to a movie like this.

@svanya..that sucks...I hope you get compensation for being on the front line like that how the hell did they get leaked anyway? this is Monday..the preview is Wednesday...all I know is...the ratings are good

France has seen it. Some people here on the forum spoke about it and gave away the end. Be very careful when on the spoiler boards guys.

The reviews don't do any harm to me. Even if all of the movie was to be told by the reviewers... I enjoy a movie for my self.

Damn...Some people gave away the end...? I realize it's the spoiler board...But...FFS... DAMN!? Wow... Not kewl. I think that's a bit excessive.

I read several of those reviews and since I havnt seen the film they dont really mean much. Ive only read one that was in real english and not some half ass google translator crap. None of them had anything close to spoilers, so im not really sure what the fuss is about. Some said it was great and some said not. I think if everyone liked it that would be really odd. you can get on you tube and watch the original Siskel and Ebert review of Aliens and they dumped on that film pretty hard. I have stated this before and will again, If reviews and spoilers and trailers would spoil a film for you then why the heck are you hear in the first place?.

Meh I don't mind spoilers, I like to go in knowing what to expect.

How can you not fall in love with the google translate renditions of the French reviews? Some candid translations are authentic masterpieces, like Rapace translated as Raptor, or the movie "White Squall" translated back from French as "Lame Feature". That's pure gold!

I have an odd view, I like to be suprised within a scenario that is spoiled if that makes sense. I.e. Everyone knows Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader an I liked knowing that but wanted to be suprised as to how it panned out. I was actually pretty impressed by the outcome of Vader.

One review actually stated that R.S. should have said it wast really an alien move then goes on to say that R.S. did say something like that but he was'nt clear enough. What kind of crap is that?

The french still mostly think Alien 4 was the best. I think It was better than the 3rd but still just basically a remake of the originall but with more action, and frankly not so good. If there was anything seriously wrong with the film the studio would not have done a press screening in the first place. R.S. has made some epic pictures and some almost perfect pictures he has also made some real stinkers. I am not expecting this to be his magnum opus but I bet its goan be a hell of a ride. Btw can someone tell me what spoilers if any came from the french reviews, cause ive seen not a single one.

@Twitch, well that is probably national pride mixed with the strange taste the French have (I am part french so don't think I am being prejudiced), Jeunet is a French director and the French love very odd movie plots and twists.

I read the french reviews, I found no spoilers per say and most of the reviews are really good..... but I'm of the opinion I judge the movie, don't care what others think, if I like the movie, I'll like it and see a dozen times until I can purchace a DVD of it in the future and watch it another dozen times....... if I like it

@Svanya, City of lost children was epic but regardless the story in Alien 4 was as bad as the last the ten min of alien 3.

@Twitch, I didn't hate any of the Alien movies. And City of lost children was ok but not my cup of tea.

@Svanya,I like David Fincher but Alien 3 was absoulute garbage I hate to say but the avp stuff was more entertaining. falling in slow motion in a christlike pose with and alien queen erupting. lololol.olollolollololollolol. I can laugh now but at the time I wanted my my cash back.
