Cinema 13 At The Scotia Bank Center in Montreal, I have been told today, has perhaps the Largest Imax Viewing Screen in this Country For Prometheus Now.
To my Utter astonishment, after hitting up that theater today and after my Overnight Shift from 3 am last night thru 11 am this morning, I discovered this while purchasing my tickets for this event!!! I also cleared up some serious issues regarding which version of the film is best to see.
The Largest Imax Viewing screen on this earth is This One...
Sydney – Darling Harbour (15/70 mm, 3D).The world's largest movie screen.
Montreal's Cinema #13 At the Scotia Bank Center On St Catherine Street for Prometheus ONLY has been fitted with the exact same specs as that theater.
The film is offered to Montrealers, or will be , in 3 different formats.
2D
3D IMAX
and a new thing Called "Ultra AVX"

Do not see this film in Ultra AVX, ask your local theater operator for tickets to the Premier, in IMAX 3D, because, you'll love this...
Every IMAX theater that can, worldwide has been encouraged to do this same thing for their viewers on Opening Night alone!!!
It'll be the ONLY chance you get to see it on the biggest screen possible !!!
In any case... having the Tickets Now just added a whole new element to my own excitement...and as each day goes by and more is leaked I am finding out why it is that some people are having a hard tIme with the Plot...and the reason is THIS...
it is exactly what I told you all it would be!!!
A Film that does One Thing , has One Purpose...
It challenges Everything we were taught about ourselves and our, mankind's, origins!!!
& The Truth has Always been the Hardest thing for Man to Swallow !!!
I am not saying this Film is IT, but what I am saying is that my understanding is this film puts forth the idea, Just Like I said it would, that WE have had it all wrong, oh so completely wrong for years and years and years!!! Everything we have been taught about the Origin of Man is Made Up and incorrect !!! To me this idea is so exciting because it has never before been done in any film, ever!!! Many have tried, but Not Like This one !!!
The 3D IMAX format for theater 13 And the Premier ONLY will use the same Idea as the Ultra AVX presents but without the Moving seats and instead the Screen has been enlarged to match the size of Austraiia's world record holder. The Sound Equipment as well has been enhanced further to make up for the Stationary Chair issue. The Seats will Vibrate but not move around the way the Ultra AVX seats do!!!
According to the Theater projectionists whom I spoke with as well, the film has been so shot full of "resolution" at roughly 4 times the Speed of original Film and double what it was for Avatar, in other words at 120 frames per second their is No way to get a Headache anymore from wearing 3D glasses !!! The Human eye has a much easier time processing film shot at this kind of speed!!!. Very Good News indeed.
For me the best was yet to come...
When I made them pull up the MAP so we could pick our seats, {a real good friend from "Nigeria" is going to this with me}, we Freaked...Only 16 other seats had been reserved so far and yet none of those people took the best spot to be in, in the entire complex....The Symmetrical Center...{actually Just about a few rows in front of that but dead Center- without a doubt the best seats to be in for maximum viewing pleasure}...Which we Promptly snatched up...1st Row, Middle of Three Sections...Just in front of Dead Center!!! Seats 18 & 19 !!! If your looking for me in their that night I will be in seat #19, exhausted, wasted and Laughing my ass off with Glee in the knowledge that I am finally there, the day has finally arrived !!!!!! A 33+ year wait, has Ended !!!
