Any spoilers posted will be removed (the entire post).[/size] -----------------------------------------------------------------I'm so tired that I'm barely able to stand up... But I just had to tell you guys this: Prometheus is a masterpiece.. There is but ONE loose end, and the title itself tells you how to THINK! I'm so impressed i'm unable to describe it. My full review will come tomorrow.. However I will conclude one thing: My best friend is a true film sceptic, he makes movies and he loves Alien and even more Aliens... He went out of the theatre impressed and we talked for hours and hours. The pacing is excellent, the story is excellent, the movie pays homeage to Alien and it really answers a lot of questions... It asks a lot of questions too, but if you're [paying attention] it also gives you the answers.. It's as intelligent as Blade Runner and less haunting than Alien, but then again maybe, but on a very different level. I say again, DO NOT worry, but consider it as a more intelligent installation.. Fox out :)

It asks a lot of questions too, but if you're [paying attention] it also gives you the answers.." wow i'd like to see that movie [i]you[/i] watched instead of the one [b]I[/b] watched. :( the events plodded (since you knew how it would end up), and the questions asked were lost-style cynicism toward the audience, instead of a complete film like alien ( note, I'm not saying i expected it to be 'like alien' - I was expecting a 'dark 2001' ).

@fox Thanks for your comments. That is the kind of intelligent, quick review and impression "not-an-spoiler" that fans in Mexico want to read. Yeap, we are waiting down here for the June 15 premiere.

I'd sum it up as ALIEN with more story. Much more story. But that's such a general statement to make. You can't really compare the two in the same light as Damon and Ridley have stated in interviews before. They are very different and offer so much to consider.

Roger Ebert [url=http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/19990517/REVIEWS/905170301]loved The Phantom Menace[/url] and [url=http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20000505/REVIEWS/5050301/1023]hated Gladiator[/url] and [url=http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/19820602/REVIEWS/40819003/1023]Blade Runner[/url] (this one has been given 3 stars after the fact) when they first came out. I say that to point out that even perceptions change with time. I don't trust those that don't state why they loved or hated the movie.

Thank you for your positive feedback.. I would love to dissect the movie, but in respect to others whom are yet to see it I will dwell on those questions for a couple of days more

I have to agree... This movie was great. It pretty much had it all but what really made me happy about this was the atmosphere and scenery... Very true to that of alien. Another thing I liked were the nasty killings and Shaw's operation... Just really nasty.
