Most Epic Sci-fi Game of all time?

Actually now that I think about it, the plot of Halo in general and this game in particular seem to have a lot in common with Prometheus. With life on earth in Halo being seeded by Aliens called Forerunners and in this game a ship going to a Forerunner world to explore it only to have the planet turn out hostile, Halo 4 seems to be the video game equivalent of Prometheus.
