Puzzled how a sequel could work or be very good

First, my understanding is there is a crap load of characters unaccounted for in Prometheus.... Second, I betcha anything that good ole Ridley not only knows what he's doing for '[url=http://www.prometheus-movie.com/community/forums/topic/6085]Part 2[/url]' but also that he's gonna pull the rug right under us....... The 'Engineers' home planet probably isn't even what we think it is #1, and #2 their planet might just consist of that 'mother ship' in the beginning of the film at this point....... For all we know, he still even might be using the 'accidental time leap forward' bullshit idea and Shaws really going to an evolved Human planet..... .....but whatever, I haven't even seen the movie.... I'v e just spoiled all the details for myself on this site... i'm horrible.

Maybe...just maybe ..and I know this is a stretch....Shaw could use David to communicate with the Engineers, or maybe I'm just a complete idiot for imagining such a far out concept. I mean that couldn't be possible, it just doesn't make any sense!

It does if David already spoke with the Engineer that threw his head at Weyland............. And he did............ So it could work...........

We don't know what that engineer said or what part he played, he may have been anti human and the guy who messed everything up, its unlikely they are all so brutal. He could have been an aggro soldier, no species could master space travel if they all had tempers like that.

My best guess is that shaw and david arrive and see that the "homeworld" has been taken over. Its not going to be some kind of paradise. It will be revealed that the Engineers are the Gods' Androids, and they have taken over "heaven". This would allow for a totally new creature/character in the form of a "God" that they free/rescue. This would run parallel to scenes of what the xeno creature is doing back on lv223. It might hiss and snarl, but who is to say it hasnt retained instinctual knowledge from the sj host. Like genetic memories. All of the equipment/ships should respond to it since it has sj/human dna. The freed god could give some exposition on the "war in heaven" and what went down with the Engineers. Think like a Universal "Skynet" and the Engineers are Terminators, the xenos are just a weapon gone wrong....or gone right if they are truly "the perfect organism". Did you notice that before she put David's head in the bag she lowered his body down from the ship? Maybe she hopes to reattach his head between movies perhaps Do they have duct tape in 2094????

Lets look at the options and rule one thing out David and Shaws Derelict land on LV426....... That would make a rubish movie because well a headless Andriod and one Human land on a planet due to cargo of Eggs.... nope thats like 30 min movie short not a full movie.... David and Shaw find the Engineers homeworld..... or maybe come across another Humaniod Civilisation created by the Engineers... that would be more interesting. Because if they find the Engineers homeworld and are just as unhappy as the Engineer in Prometheus.... well how can Shaw and David stop a whole host of Engineers.... Other scope is if Weyland Corp send out a rescue mission to find out what happened to Prometheus or even Yutani Corp, and they then come across the new Xeno Organism....
