i was thinking the same thing about it looking like a beetlejuice character.

At least the movie has spaceships, I am having a hard time seeing how this protoxeno,resembles,engineer,squidyhuggs,and,momma..were does the longation of the head derive from ? what creature?..I think the book, will open alot to all we dont see in the film, theres a reason the film is the way it is, just enjoy it, and smile.....

It is a sweet film, but probably not what you're expecting. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. And I like the new proto guy, I think they've done it well.

It looks like a cross between the ID4 aliens (the little guy inside the suit) and a duck. LOL

Thanks for the link rogerflaps. Pretty marginal quality, but not bad for what it was... now I won't miss anything when I see the hi-res 3D version Friday. Wonder how long that will be available to view? Whole lotta anger on this forum, but I thought it was pretty good. It has some issues, but overall a good movie. Not a fan of the zeno head shape, but it's not too terribly awful. I'll never look at another Olympic bike helmet again without laughing... I dont remember seeing the Proto Xeno in the movie, what part was it in?

There's no Proto Xeno in the Movie. It's a mutated Rat... yep. Why speak everyone from a "Proto"-Xeno? That means it is the Ur-Xeno of all Xenos. This one is just another way the DNA altered. The only Point the Xeno here shows with the Xenos from Alien, is the DNA. Thats my Idea of the complete Movie.
