Wow! Already have my ticket to see Prometheus at the Navy Pier IMAX tomorrow, but couldn't wait and saw it on the good old regular screen after work. I love it and definately looking forward to seeing it again. I don't really think Weyland was the "evil" guy I had made him out to be - sure, selfish, perhaps heartless, sure. But he didn't know what was going to happen once they got there - he wasn't responsible for everyone's deaths (personally - I think David acted alone in infecting Holloway). He was simply wanting to meet his maker and perhaps - again selfishly - find eternal life. Thoughts?

Yeah, maybe David infected Holloway of his own accord because he wants to be a creator himself...or at least play a role in creation somehow. Shaws baby is all thanks to David. Death of the humans and the final space jockey was all thanks to David. I see David as the fire. But then again, maybe he is telling the truth when he says he has no "wants" and Im completely wrong :)

I think that David was following orders when he infected Holloway, Weyland was using him as a guinea pig, which shows how totally evil he is. Vickers is pretty much exactly how you would expect his daughter to turn out, but she was actually not evil at all when you think about it.

the first thing that came to my mind, is David have some "emotional attachment" to Shaw. I know it sound stupid because he is a robot, but why is he learn and read Shaw dream, and the way he look at her. Yeah maybe he also read other dream. Then on 2nd thought, it is likely that he is testing the goo on human sample.
