haha - he's one of my facebook friends and i answered some of the questions straight away - within hours there were loads of posts

i have read this comments before watching the movie, and i got the feeling that i have seen a diferent movie than all of you. 1st: Why does Michael Fassbender's android slip some gooey alien poison to Logan Marshall-Green? Like in Alien, the andoird, likes to experiment, he is fascinated with cience and with the origin of things, but he is diferent from humans, he does not have emotions, he only has logical thinking. When he sow the "gooey" he undertsands what it is, and starts experimenting. 2nd: Why, then, does he save Noomi Rapace at the end of the film? He does not save the girl, she is the means to acheave his goals, he has to learn more. 3rd: Does the first scene take place on Earth? it coudld be, but it's more an explanation of what are they (engeneers) They are the makers (gods, engeneers, cientists etc) of life, the "gooey" needs a catalyser to start life, and the engeneer body is that catalyser. 4th: Why is everyone such a jerk? The whole movie, is about human king, what and who we turned of, humans are jerks, imagin the works 50 years from now. She as parted from her father's ideas, she just whants to be well succeeded in business, instead her father, has the need to understand the mining of life. All the other crew members are just humans, looking for easy money. 5th: Why doesn't anyone care about Noomi's self-Cesarean? As you can see, she headed to the wayland room, and they are more concern with meeting with the "engeneer". The android is the only one that, understands what appened to her. The other ones are Wayland personal bodygards and nurses. She thinks the creature is dead. 6th: Why doesn't Idris Elba care what's going on with his crew? At this point he cannot do nothing because of the storm outside, the crew members are exploring, and he cares, but he cannot do nothing about it. And agin, he is human, and after 2 years, he need to get a shack... lol 7th: Why do the two scaredy-cat geologists suddenly seem so taken with the "cute" little alien? Becouse they are very stupid, since the beginnig of the movie that we see they are most likly to die. You have seen that they flea, lefting the other crew members on theyr own. Who does that? In a strange world, with unknown dangers? That the only part of the movie that is not very well written. 8th: Why cast Guy Pearce as Weyland, and not an actual old man? Becouse of all the propaganda that was made around the movie, and probably there is more to came... 9th: Why couldn't Patrick Wilson catch a break? Naoomi, is the protagonist, and the Android is fascinated with her and her need to know.
