that would make sense to me. except you need to explain Shaw heading off to find the Engineer's home planet or where they live based on the current navigational instrument in the ship she leaves in.

That may be another story in the story. And a good one too. The story I would like to see is the one I described. Where did the space jockey come from? We now know it came from a labratory where an ALIEN infected the jockey. The one that crashed in the original ALIEN movie could have been on the way to another planet (not earth)....thank you Maximumhunter

Colonel..sci-fi causes us to think this way..so bear with me. Yes, to your it comes out ready to rock and roll...The one that came out of John Hurt shed skin rapidly and grew to epic proprotions. These things may learn while in their womb how to come out to survive the best....

The xenomorph in Alien 3 came out of the dog/ox in a similar manner to the creature at the end of Prometheus. . . Neither came out as a "chestburster".

Xenophobe baby...agreed...however..I am presenting to you that this ALIEN infects another Engineer and then comes out as the one we know in ALIEN...That would mean that it infected an Engineer twice which produced this fantastic creature that is smart and cannot be stopped. I mean what would have the Engineers running like crazy in the hologrpahics...they were scared....I say two enigneer infections..thats what

I want to know if this new Alien that came out of the engineer will recognize Shaw as a relative or perhaps her offspring will consider Shaw their mother as the queen and baby behaved toward Ripley in A:R. If so, they may be her salvation in an upcoming sequel.

Acid Blood...An interesting premise adn certasinly deserves consideration...I will say this...Whatever was chasing those engineers in the hologrpahic had no love or respect for anything....

I would say odds are it was the same thing we saw, the Deacon, Only 2000 years ago. They said, "something went wrong" and forced them to change the game plan...yea..same thing that happened here...The "Deacon"!

Erm, who said it came out fully grown?? It's a baby, a chestburster type creature, and yes it called a deacon.

I just saw it burst out of a chest...so please elaborate on this Snorkelbottom. I am not taking either side here just curious if you do not call what it did bursting out of chest what else do you call it? I need to know cause I will be referring to it a lot in the future I think.

it would have been nice if they had done a bit more on the metal image of the alien on the planet. and what was that green stone in front of it? I'm sure more will be brought to light of this new alien form. in the next two movies. I'm just hope that this isnt going to be too much like the alien series.... but then if it does that means the second movie should be freaking wicked
