Before leaving on the ship, why didint they both spend some time investigating the rest of the domes and the rooms within them? Plus, where is the creature that killed the Engineers or its remains? And what was that life form reading the Captain picked up and says it is intermittent?

I think the intermittent life form reading was the very weak bio-sign of the Last Engineer in stasis. They didn't investigate more due to time and budget and possibilities for Vickers to do that next time or the time after that.

I agree plus she makes such a good robot possibility too...There is more going on still at this place even though David and shaw leave...there is stuff going on still

Vickers cant be a robot cuz she was rushing to get the space suit on at the end to go out of the ship,plus her escape pod had food and oxygen why would she need that if she were a robot?
