Richie... in the briefing there's cave drawings on Hawaii... less than 1500 years old. (in fact with humans believed to have originated in Africa, and then migrated, places like Hawaii, Tasmania and the southern tip of South America were later settlements than elsewhere... and the earliest evidence of settlement on Hawaii are 300 CE, so 1700 years old.
Whatever happened in that dome (one of 5 or 6 similar domes) it did not stop other visits to our planet, assuming that Shaw's C14 calibration can be trusted to work in that environment.

Good input and observation Hadleys Hope....So, I am maintaining that the visit schedule for 2000 years ago was for a Goo shot of some sort..the other visitations were Engineer observers not chemical engineers

How about that there is no evidence that the plan was to wipe us out wholesale rather than abduct a bunch of us for nefarious purposes and that Shaw's interpretation of David's cryptic answer was based on her worst fears (the "Apocalypse" as foretold in Revalations. )
That dude Weyalnd woke up, might have been the equivalent of Igor, routinely sent to get more specimens for Dr. Frankenstein.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [to Igor] Now that brain that you gave me. Was it Hans Delbruck's?
Igor: [pause, then] No.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Ah! Very good. Would you mind telling me whose brain I DID put in?
Igor: Then you won't be angry?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry.
Igor: Abby someone.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby someone. Abby who?
Igor: Abby... Normal.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby Normal?
Igor: I'm almost sure that was the name.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [chuckles, then] Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA?
[grabs Igor and starts throttling him]
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Is that what you're telling me?

Good ol' Marty Feldman. a class act, but a short hunchback with a lazy eye would not inspire the 'this must be god' reaction in the way that a giant, fleshy version of a Greek statue does.

Ahhh..where is an engineer when you truly need one....HH is right even though Spartacus does make a good quote...Sci-fi rules
