What if the movie had a narrator throughout the whole story, explaining to us what is happening. Just for arguments sake we'll say they picked, you guessed it! Morgan Freeman!!! Would it: {A} Make the movie better, but not too much narration. (Leave some things mysterious.) {B} Make the movie better all around, no matter how much narration is used. {C} Make the story better understood but pretty cheesy and not creative. {D} Make the story better understood but make it a one time view. {E} Ruin it completely, you would rater keep the mystery. {F} That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard. PLEASE, AND I REPEAT PLEASE just answer A, B, C, D, E, or F. No need to add anything else, I just want to get the overall thoughts from everybody without having the thread full of text.... Thank you! PLEASE, AND I REPEAT PLEASE just answer A, B, C, D, E, or F. No need to add anything else, I just want to get the overall thoughts from everybody without having the thread full of text.... F, of course! But it would please some of the idiots who can't make head nor tails about what the film's about. And there are plenty of those.

@deftones1986 Oh goodness! The community is not following your instructions (precisely (even though you were so very clear (and thorough (in explaining how everyone needed to behave (in order to meet your expectations))))). How could this be happening? Perhaps you're a bad writer? Or maybe we're all geologists and biologists... or synthetics (with our. own. agendas.)... By the time it's over you'll be wishing for a herd of cats.

@ sukkal You're absolutely right. All this does is make my theories stand out above the rest of everyone elses. The human race is a paradox, and even though it sounds so simple and corny, it's the most believable thing out there. We constantly contradict ourselves and this movie shoved that theory up our ass but we stilL CHOOSE TO BELIEVE as in: - Theres more to the story - The script sucks - The writing sucks - The CGI sucks - The acting sucked - The acting was awsome - The makeup sucked - Ridley made his worst movie - Ridley made his best movie - Why ancient aliens? - Why not ancient aliens? - It has to do with this myth - It has to do with that myth - It wasn't like Alien - It was better than Alien - I'm right everybody is wrong the movie sucked. - I'm right everybody is wrong the movie was awsome. - Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah I'm just saying whatever makes me happy and makes me seem like I have the answer, and makes me seem smarter than everybody else even though I keep contradicting myself by signing in, and checking in on peoples reactions, reinforcing that what I said is true. I AM NOT BASHING ANYBODIES OPINIONS AT ALL, I'M JUST PROVING MY POINT BECAUSE I AM ALSO PART OF THE CONTRADICTION! I AM NOT BASHING ANYBODIES OPINIONS AT ALL, I'M JUST PROVING MY POINT BECAUSE I AM ALSO PART OF THE CONTRADICTION! The point and my most important question is: Is it not true that we make up our own personal answers in order to keep ourselves feeling good, and to satisfy our own egos in our own little worlds? Please someone tell me that's not true I'd LOVE to know why! There is a reason why we all distance ourselves from the rest of the human race ( We all live in seperate houses, with our own little community of people...or FAMILY, and we only come out when we see fit.) Now...if everybody got along and agreed on the same stuff...would we not all be living in one huge area with each other? No wonder The Engineers where sent to destroys us again with something better than a FLOOD. If monkeys who share our dna, can't even begin to understand us as human.... Then how could we who share dna with a superior species even begin to understand them?

Sukkal: LOL. The questions themselves are problematic. "Why" voice-over?

I think after a while, as much as I like Morgan Freeman, and I do like him as an actor, I feel that sometimes he's over rated and its just the feeling of UUGGHH another film with an excuse to have Morgan Freemans voice on it - or over it. I think prolonged silences inter-mittent with action cues and suggestive slight-of-hand cmaer wiork and general film making would suffice enough. It just takes good. quality thinking, inventivebess and little tricks to about-face the audience and that is all you need to have a good, decent crowd pleaser of a film. See Blade Runner, as much as I have watched multiple incarnations of that film both with and without narration the one with out plays on your thinking cap much more than the one with. I've tolerated that one with Harrison Ford's voice-over on it but much prefer the one without.

@ David 1 simply to explain to us exactly 100% what the director and writer are telling us with this story.

Heh heh, I'm picturing a Fox exec saying: "maybe if we'd dumbed it down with a follow the dots, voice-over, like we did with "Bladerunner"...... F
