Build a lab and save DNA of all the species that are present, about to extinct and keep the log of their changes like the programmers keep it with subversion (git). :P Let there be dumb ideas and delusion (ahem), that keeps curiosity alive. If there is no resistance to exploration, journey doesn't make sense. Let there be failure. Let there be chaos. Humanity can be experienced when there is chaos. ;)
