We already know why Fifield and Milburn got lost; as Janek said, the storm outside was playing hell with their receivers, which is why Janek had to ask them for their coordinates.
Also, Fifield's "pups" hone in on life readings. Remember, only Janek and people on board the Prometheus can see the mapping of the ship.

MemberOvomorphAug-16-2012 1:05 AMTerryHex, I suspect the Fifield Attack sequences were proper R-rated. And no, it looks like you'll be scouring the menu, not enjoying an embedded/extended/integrated three hour bliss zone.
STRANGE BEDFELLOWS might be the Janek/Vickers 'quickie'.
JANEK FILLS IN VICKERS though this rudely lends itself to the 'encounter' scene, I suspect this is more to do with "CARGO" i.e. Vickers discovering that Daddy is on board, too.
2013 sci-fi horror novels 'Custodian' and 'Tandem' available from Amazon, B&N, iTunes etc...

MemberOvomorphAug-16-2012 1:50 AMIf Paradise is what I think it is it's great and will reveal a little bit about David's true goals.

MemberNeomorphAug-16-2012 6:02 AMCan't Wait!!! I wonder what 'Janek Fills Vickers in' LOL. They've got dirty minds.
Am lookin forward to hearing the Engineer talk! I assume that's what that is. *smiley*
The poster was good though!

MemberOvomorphAug-16-2012 10:58 AMIf you don't own a BluRay I would say this is a good reason to get one now. They are affordable and worth every dime. I have a Sony 400 disc player and I am nor considering on buying another. BluRay is here to stay folks. I also have a computer setup in my home theater to play digital HD as well. This BluRay version is going to be good and a must have for any collection. I am sure we will see a directors cut released right around the time the sequel comes out.

MemberOvomorphAug-16-2012 10:17 PMVery nice. Thanks for posting.
I'm not really to worried about the scenes being added back to the film at this point. I've said it before that if this is Scott's version like they say then it's more than likely the best version. I've never seen any scene which he deleted of his own volition that would have actually made one of his films "better." Take notice that I said "of his own volition" please.
TBH, I'd much rather them hold a little back. If we get it and see all there is to see that's the end of it. No great discovering the workprint as was the case with Blade Runner. Getting all of it at once, while cheaper, is just not as fun for me. I love the film that exists. Let me enjoy it for a while, get to know it inside and out then inside again then outside again then inside and outside again, then realease the workprint.
And as much as we all act like we hate double dipping it would suck without new versions of films and their extras. Double dipping with no new extras is the true and only enemy.
