MemberOvomorphSep-13-2012 10:02 PMOk, there are about 5 different threads about the NECA figures and it's kinda hard to decide where to put what info. So, now we have a thread to put any and all NECA Prometheus figure info, pics, etc.
I wanted to start this because I just got the most detailed info I've seen on the release dates, characters that will be in each series and what accessories each figure will include.
Here's the low down...

NECA still hasn't said exactly when they will ship but they do update their twitter with shipping info so if I'm the first to hear they've been shipped I'll post it here. If anyone else hears about them shipping please let us know.

@Qsan: david and the deacon are the confirmed lineup for series two (aforementioned figures will be the only figures in series two, btw). Series two will have a street date of approximately feb/march of 2013. sorry. no chance of david for Xmas (im excited about david as well!).

MemberOvomorphJan-14-2013 4:29 AMyessir! i was so glad to see neca confirm a street date for series 2 (includes the deacon and david8)! I was a bit concerned, given some of the cryptic remarks randy (neca product development) has made regarding the future of the neca prometheus line. In fact, randy commented today (on twitter) that, from here on out, sales and retail interest will completely dictate the future of the line. Neca has 6 more figures prepared after david and the deacon; it would be a shame if, for example, liz shaw never got released. lets buy the shit out these bad boys. There are some really beautiful figures left!
@patient leech: have you seen the more recent pics of the NECA Aliens line coming in april?

MemberOvomorphJan-19-2013 1:11 PM@Qsan: Pre-orders for series 2 figures havent gone up quite yet (soon). However, I would suggest using bigbadtoystore.com when time comes. Of course, you could google for other options as well. Ill post here when the pre-orders start showing up on the web.

Neca prometheus series 2 (david + the deacon) is up for pre-order on both toywiz.com and bigbadtoystore.com. Both stores appear to be offering the figures for the same price. Of note, the pre-order info on both of the previously mentioned sites states that the approximate date of availability for series 2 will be april. Neca said the street date was late feb. I contacted NECA again today and they confirmed that the US street date should be approximately late feb. Dunno why toywiz and BBTS have them listed as april. Its likely those pre-order estimates will be moved up to feb. or march in the coming weeks.
Presently, for both david and the deacon, the sites ive mentioned are charging $34.99. Not a bad deal at all. $17.50 per figure is about what the figures in series 1 went for.
Anyways...the figures look fantastic! go pre-order these bad boys!
