This maybe where the claim that Prometheus 2 has started shooting is from. I havent checked Wikipedia, but it appears Cluadius is saying shooting could commence in 7 months? I of course would love nothing more. Thanks for the hopeful update, Claudius!

The question is, will they actually get a writer and have the script fully put together in time for that

Cool if this is official than this is great news for us hardcore Sci-Fi fans like Alien and Prometheus. I wanna see the sequel now but I gotta be patient with these things. Hopefully the script will be just full of details and great story-telling.

Thanks for the Nexes News links. Its exciting news to hear of the early production news for Prometheus. I just hope they will have more professional scientists this time around, or stated another way, lets hope Shaw and David, the only scientists left, act like real scientists this time around. Also, I hope Shaw will find something to eat on the Juggernaut ship they jack from LV223.

I'm sure the Juggernaut will be kind enough to extrude a large grey nipple from which she can enjoy a nice squishy nutrient pap. If not, they did take 6 days to prepare, plenty of time to Pack some sammies.

@claudius; Wikki is notorious for having false information, because anyone can edit posts. Ridley isn't actually more busy than he usually is, he has been doing TV the past 10 years (NUMB3RS and The Good Wife) it just seems that way because we are focusing on him atm. :)

about Dr. Shaw... she lost her partner, Vickens flame-thrower and she lost in other ways. do we feel she is up to the job? kick the aliens out of our galaxy neighborhood, tell the Engineers (the bad ones) to take a hike. i am perhaps still looking for Ridley, the tough lady from Alien 1,2,3 ? Dr. Shaw seems like a weak character cf. Ridley or the mercenaries in Predators...should the main female character not be equipped to handle the opposition ? is this desirable that Dr. Shaw walks and talks like a female nerd ?
