What happened to Shaw

maybe David recreates the experiment that made the eggs but on Shaw. (there was a reason the engineers created humans)

There were images of people fighting trilobites.

 Maybe the ship they used to get to the engineer's homeworld was loaded up with the goo the same as the other that was destroyed by the Prometheus. So when they arrive at the engineers home world they crash or the engineers try to stop them by shooting them down, only for the goo to be released killing or Mutating all the engineers and shaw in the process. just leaving David.

from what ridley has said about the movie, david brings death with him so im assuming the goo or eggs r onboard

I never saw those images. What i saw was images of some engineers infected fighting others. Things we will see in covenant prolly woth cgi and not statues.the leak mentions david unleash black goo on them...but could be interpretation of the apocalipse image..and hogwash.

Do you guys ever considered the eggs could be in the cave even before david arrives? That maybe he might even not have part on it at all.

Paradise could be where these elders or " religious"engineers live as a normal civilization and the place where they worship the beast in its pure original form and the eggs are the holy grail

Then i could imagine david evolving the primitive creature to something we know.

Even the eggs look animalistic rather then crafted.

I would love shaw being part of it obviously.but she could be part of something bigger too..and i want those concepts of giger seing the daylight..im a true fan of those due to the shoking potential.

I really want Shaw to play a really important role in this or future Alien movies.
