Shaw... Alive?!

All good points.

Me, I liked Shaw's character even though I understand why a lot of people didn't like her conflicting convictions.  I truly hope ol' Dave hasn't turned her into Alien egg batter, but I fear the worst due to her limited filming for this movie.

If I could have a dream scenario, she would be rescued by Katherine Waterson's character and they go on an neomorph killing, proto-morph slapping rampage...

I once had a dream about Shaw and David on the engineer homeworld that I for some reason remember (unlike other dreams that I easily forgot).I shared it already on this topic HERE but heres what I dreamed.

Many months later on the engineer homeworld,inside the engineer citadel David told Shaw the reason why the engineers wanted to destroy humanity.He also revealed that he was responsible for Holloway's death.Infuriated by the reveal,Shaw wanted to kill him but knowing he is dangerous and stronger than her she tried to run away from him but David knocked her over really fast and dragged her to the room where he was experimenting with the black goo.Inside the room,when Shaw remained conscious David started talking about the xenomorphs,about their biology and how much he is impressed with them (all that while holding an alien egg).

He then let the facehugger subdue her.When Shaw woke up she knew what was going to happen to her because David told her so she got out of the citadel and drove far away from David in ATV to the Juggernaut that she and David arrived in and locked herself inside the hypersleep chamber which prevented her from getting chestbursted,but not before setting a distress beacon.

10 years later she was found by the crew of USCSS Covenant and taken to their ship.They removed the xenomorph embryo from her,but the embryo grew very fast and went on a rampage across the ship.

Thats it.

But since Shaw was not really mentioned anywhere I supoose that Shaw will be in flashbacks.

I think I read a fake script close to this storyline...Or maybe it was a post here on AC. Either way, that would be awesome and it would make me happy.  Getting the missus to get me a case of T-Bird to celebrate the possibilities....

@suwhited Actually the thing that inspired my dream was some part in Jon Spaihts Alien: engineers script.

In it,Shaw discovers inside the pyramid the cause of Holloway's death (he was impregnated by some early version of facehugger).While walking aimlessly she finds David who tells her that the Engineers were planing to wipe out humanity using genetically engineered xenomorphs,and that he will resume the mission.Shaw tried to run away but David knocked her over.When she remained conscious David started talking about the xenos bla bla bla and he then let the facehugger subdue her.When Shaw woke up she returned back to the ship and jumped in the med pod to remove the xeno embryo,but it was too late and she got chestbursted.The medpod's systems repaired the damage and brought Shaw back to life.

David is mixing up something wonderful....

I can't shake the feeling that David fell for Shaw in his own way. If she died, I don't think it was at his hand.

If she's alive, she may be incapacitated until David can find a way to help her. That might even be why he sent the message.

that's my theory myrddin, he has left shaw in stasis as she is continually producing trilobites. he wants to help her but must experiment to find the answer. so his evil actions r motivated by genuine concern for shaw

that's what o'bannan and shusset were going for, messed up ideas that will terrify us. like the egg morphing concept. how messed up is that but I think it works so well. I prefer it to the queen but I get the theory and logic of the queen

@Myrddin365 Yah, David did show some emotions for Shaw... I don't think that he'll just kill her like that

the best way to show that david is indeed experiencing emotion is to have him 'care' for one of the other characters. maybe shaw is that character as I also took that sense he looked upto her in a way. maybe seeing a mentor in areas he doesn't fully understand like religion now that weyland is dead?
