Your favourite tense moment in Alien series

One tense scene is when Ripley finds the clone room and it hits home with her just how much and how long and gruesome the process was that ended with her.

So many to choose from!A moment i love is with the airlock in Alien,they're trying to get Kane back inside while Ripley reminds them of the quarantine procedures and Ash lets them in any way 

What is your favourite moment between characters? 

The Alien and Lambert

Utter terror; knowing there is no way out, but also knowing this is no wild beast looking to kill you quick. Realising it is as cruel and calculating as the worst of humankind; that it is not simply trying to survive, but satisfy its sadistic and bestial gratification along the way. This is truly dread.

Aliens.....just sealed the door....guns cooked, reading aliens inside the room....Hicks climbs ladder to look in ceiling....

There are so many tense moments, but one of my favourite is Dallas in the vent mainly interacting with Lambert.

Lambert: Oh God it's moving right towards you, get out of there!!

The dot on the motion detector moves straight towards Dallas' position.

Dallas climbs down and we're all like "where the f*** is the Alien!!!??? did Dallas get away safely!?"

Dallas turns around and *BAM* the Alien attacks (followed by me almost jumping off the couch like a scared cat and then soaking it) 

When brett is looking around for jones, walking under the folded up struts with chains and water droplets and you see the tail drop as brett is trying to coaxe jonesy out then woomf! goodnight brett!

I have a ton of favorites as well, but the one I keep coming back to is the entire scene in Operations when Hicks sends Hudson and Vasquez out into the corridor after the power was cut during the interrogation of Burke. After going out into the corridor, Hudson then picks up the alien warriors moving in on them.....

Ripley: "Anything?!"

Hudson: "It's inside the complex..."

Vasquez: "You're just reading me."

Hudson: "No, No.... it ain't you.... they're inside, inside the perimeter.... they're in here!"

Ripley: "Hudson, stay cool! Vasquez?...."

Vasquez: "Hudson may be right."

Ripley: "Get back, both of you!"

Hudson: "Signal's weird... must be some interference or somethin'.... THERE'S MOVEMENT ALL OVER THE PLACE!"

Hicks: "Get back to Operations!" (turns to Ripley), "It's game time!"

I have a lot of favorite moments from Alien and Aliens.

Every appearance of the Xenomorph but when it comes to the human characters.

Hudson: What do you mean they cut the power? their animals!

Hudson: Thats it man, gameover man, gameover.

Prometheus - Shaw removing the baby Trilobite in the medpod

Alien - "here Jonsey Jonsey" (enough said)

Aliens - "Get away from her you BITCH"

Alien 3 - Ripley finding the xenomorph queen INSIDE of her

Alien: Resurrection - I have to say, not much scary here, the xenos in the water was terrifying though.

@ninXeno426 Yah good point, I loved that scene but my favorite was when we see the full grown alien for the first time.

My favorite scene was in Aliens when we slowly pan from the egg being laid to the Queen, that was pretty cool ;)

My favourite scene is the Jockey reveal, Kane wanting to just go deeper into the rabbit hole, Dallas trying to make sense of it all and Lambert coming to terms with what she has witnessed and wanting to get the hell out of there. It's just such a magical scene that's made so believable....

The MOST TENSE (NOT my "most favorite") scene for me is the one with Brett, the chains, looking for Jonesy, Alien isn't there on the first look up, then it's just hanging there, whilst the music picks up the tempo and contributes to the impending doom. Just an amazing bit of editing and camerawork.

Neo and Stan already covered my most Tense, in fact anything with Lambert freaking out...

I'm gonna go OT again here, sorry :)

Lambert was so damn human in her reactions considering the terrifying nature of the situation. Veronica put a lot of heart into her role. 

Ripley tried to contain her fear but also freaked out at the end, but she still managed to carry on her plans. 

Parker had a look of extreme stress and terror in his eyes but tried to hide it with "alpha male toughness"

I think she won a Saturn Award in 79 for best supporting actress

I love when Lambert freaks out at Ripley asking her to 'open the goddamm lock'

Dallas in the Vents! Everything from Lambert over the airwaves frantically not helping to the motion detector and even down to tiny details like the oily grinding slow-moving circular vent-doors.  No wonder he was like, "I want to get the hell out of here!"  In the end of that scene I was so petrified that when the Alien popped out like it wanted to hug Dallas- i didnt even notice!  Isnt that funny though?  The fear was the that really got to me not the Alien Hug Surprise :)
