Lol so true. Because up to Prometheus, the science and protocol in Alien films were solid!

Of course Aorta, like FTL travel through any atmosphere. We have a lot to learn to reconcile that.

What annoyed me the most was probably that he acted like a douche bag towards David with comments like “I almost forgot you’re not a real boy”. His stupid thing of taking of his helmet was just like “what the F are you idiots doing?” (so he wasn’t the only one that did that but just makes it worse, five idiots is worse than one).

The way he was portrayed didn’t make me feel sorry for him at all when he died it was rather like “well good so we don’t need to see that asshole again”. The list of not interesting or stupid characters gets less as time goes on, at least they felt sympathetic and/or real in Alien.

So he became toast, did someone eat him up like a monster barbecue? Imagine Zombie Fifield siting there with a fork and a knife eating some of a fried Holloway I just wonder what he would have been drinking though. OK so my sense of humor is strange, I admit it.

Maybe the good thing about him is that he was curious but that’s it. I bet that they could have made him a better character which goes for most of them so I don’t want to act like he was the only problem because unfortunately he wasn’t. They should have re-written most of the characters except for David and maybe the captain (Janek).

Perhaps he has done better roles so it is not about the actor but rather the character Holloway.

What are the mouth comments about? I don’t get it

I think that this part has been brought up before but anyways, it is about the viral sites that give answers to Prometheus. When I watch a movie I expect it have most of the answers itself even though they can be ambiguous. The problem with Prometheus is that you are expected to have read web pages to understand more if it, that is never something that I would do since I am lazy so the movie should answer these things for us.

As far as explanations, at least one thing that they cut out was when one of the dumb scientists found a small alien worm so therefore he didn’t get scared when they found the alien snake which he died from. This part should have stayed because without it he just looks like a dumbass. Milburn was the name as far as I know.

Hopefully AC will answer some of the things that were in Prometheus but how many remain to be seen.

There were so many reasons to write this suwhited but self-disgust was the driving factor in that part. I'm so spoiled that if I pout hit me with a flame-thrower. Again, I apologize for how disgusting the pout picture was.

I truly appreciate your reluctance in "grudgingly" suwhited. Sometimes the compassion in this forum overwhelms me.

I take this as compassion but please let me make myself perfectly clear, if you see me pouting in but a fraction of the display offered by Dr. Charlie Holloway, put the flame thrower 1 centimeter from my nose and burn off everything until it is a permanent display of smiling, appreciative teeth.
