David Bombarding the City (Spoiler)
He looks nuts and unstable to me
Imagine how nuts Shaw has gone with him as her friend!
@GTiH I agree...his circuits look fried, his wiring crossed, his IC's disconnected, his .... well, I think we all get the idea.
If you'll notice in the "bombardment" photo, his hair is NOT long. So this bombardment either took place EARLY in the 10 year cycle, or David suddenly found the local barbershop for a cleanup before posing for the pics whilst carrying out said bombardment.
Indeed his hair looks shorter, however he could have bit brushed back etc.
Only via Looking at a more HD Image can we confirm how his hair is during the Bombardment Scene.

Of course, shouldn't David be doing something else instead of idly looking out the bomb door?---like say, I don't know...PILOTING THE SHIP????
Or, is one Dr. Shaw involved...? Hmm...
@starlogger
that might be why shaw is in the command chair and sends a distress message. Good skills for someone who cant even read the engineer manuals. She must help david reattach his head then they must learn how to pilot the juggernaut.
I still say shot down after the bombing, if david was in control, the juggernaut would not have crashed. The engineers must have got a punch in.
Agreed, Babylonxeno. A retaliatory shot is probably what brought the juggernaut down, thus leaving David (and Shaw) stranded on the planet. Perhaps it wasn't immediate, though. Perhaps from elsewhere on the planet (or from the Engineers' interplanetary realm of influence) came a return strike, which then prompted Shaw to attempt to escape her/their impending doom (punishment). But whatever forewarning they may have had doesn't come soon enough, and the craft is brought down. This would seem to also explain the hologram the Covenant crew see of an apparently-frightened Shaw trying to activate the ship.
*Edited for clarification.
I think we can safely assume advanced autopilot functions, right?
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING
I actually think that the shot with david bombing the city is from inside the big ship, not the Juggernought, and that the people looking up are not Engineers, but another humanoid race. As for the big ship, I think that it was acquired along David and Shaws journey to Paradise. I allso think that they on their journey found out that the people on Paradise, for some reason must be wiped out.
That little fieldtrip, and why all this has to be done is what we will see in Alien: Awakening.
And I might be totally wrong...
"Bees have hives, man"
One thing's a certainty, the ALIENverse is going to be getting much bigger...and scarier :D
