Children of Men The Day the Earth Stood Still Iron Man 2 (The first was quite good...but I didn't buy into the 2nd with him being blind drunk and partying in his Iron Man suit...It was truly a cringe worthy moment and destroyed the entire film for me)

@Frantz Inception? WTF mate, that is a brilliant film. Usually people that don't understand it can't appreciate it for what it is lol. Christopher Noland is a brilliant director

To my mind he's too flashy, too carried away with empty, glossy visuals to really be regarded as a great. He was fortunate with 'Alien' and 'Bladerunner' to be being fed interesting ideas by more rounded people. I hope his collaborators on this new film provide some ballast so we get something more than an extended version of the trailer.

My Lord, OSCARS 2000 BEST PICTURE, BEST SOUND, BEST VISUAL EFFECTS, BEST COSTUMES and a BEST ACTOR for star RUSSELL CROWE. That's 5 Oscars for the film 4 OF WHICH ARE IN THE TOP 10 IN "IMPORTANCE VALUE" FOR ANY FILM and none for it's director after what is undeniably one the top 10 films ever made !!! They should give him 2 as an apology for the UN FORGIVABLE mistake they made

With regard to American Gangster I loved that film as well, but the ending of it left me bewildered. I understood it, Just still can't understand why he went that way with it. Never the less it was his puppy not mine and it is in fact a fantastically underrated film.

@alteredstate Your right, Scott has been somewhat ignored. On the other hand...personally, I think that the film "KINGDOM OF HEAVEN" stinks like a bilge-rat. It was historically inaccurate, Orlando Bloom is a pussy, ripped off music from five other…better films, and it sucked up to Saladin and his merry band of cutthroats. Those jihadists were every bit as bad…or worse, than the Christian crusaders that were so lamely depicted in the film. Hey, I did two years in Iraq…and those folks mean business…now…and back then. I agree with you totally about that film {Kingdom Of Heaven} "Li". I expected so much and was so very disappointed with it.

interesting, i prefer my own theory of course :) but this one is good, i like the darkness of it. I like the idea of the alien being a deliberate part of the jockey and ship - as you have it - it is very much in line with their claim "you'll see the alien but you won't recognize it" ... the same DNA with many guises. my own idea was that the jockeys go around seeding planets and harvesting them, planetary farmers, using time dilation to accelerate the time it takes their crop to reach maturity (from their near light speed travel POV), making round trips planting and reaping. The alien is like a super-male, they don't just eat the biomass they breed into it ... to rapidly amplify their own genes on harvesting. i like my idea that from their POV the entire evolution of a planet like ours is just like waiting for a fruit to ripen ... or even cooking a meal .. you can imagine a packet of planet seed with instructions "cook in sunlight for 4billion years, garnish and serve"

...it's like looking at a cloud....u could see a Xeno or a rabbit or a fucking elephant.....sure it's something tho... it moves...so it's alive and it's not human (i think)...then perhaps it is in fact some alien thing....but personally I could not be bothered...sick of looking at clouds...what is the point of this exercise...lol

Yeah guys I looked at the slow motion teaser trailer. The serpent clip is fading into the next clip of the peron jumping. The Xeno is actually the person jumping (Not a Xeno). End of.

Ya, look at what I posted. There are 2 images in one shoot. there is a man jumping and xeon like head.

If you look at the teaser trailer, this 'Xeno Head' is actually the top of the person jumping across. It is fading in and out into both clips. It really really really is easy to see. There is no Xeno lol. I think some are scrutinising the trailer a tad too much.

@danrald Ok u know what...their is something up with that guys head...I doubt it's a Xeno....but it is likely a mutated human....or some other alien monstrosity....or sadly maybe it is just a person jumping...problem is that it is impossible to tell with the dreadful quality...I kinda want it to be a Xeno tho...;(

@ see you hicks - someone else mistook this image for a xeno's head, claiming the last few frames as proof, because of ridges similar to that of a xeno. Those ridges are the letters running across the image that say "WILD CARD". This image could be many things, but a xeno it is not.

I don't think the focus is on the xeno right by the "WILD CARD", it's in the middle where the man is jumping. It's a distinctive image that we all know. If it is something else, then it is something else.. but there is no denying that the image shown, is the image of a xemo head. That is all there is too it.

@Snorkelbottom, Thanks for the reply, I think if you look at page 3 of 4 on this thread, you will see the images. Tell me if you can't see them and I'll repost. BTW, you are pretty active on this site. Have you read anything about the scene in the dock of the ship with the vehicals? I have an issue with the flamethrower in that scene.. I was wondering if you or anyone else had noticed something or not..

I see the images and I see the image, but what I see is a subjective image that is one of two things... 1. A shadow, nothing more - take into account this "footage" is what, 1-2 frames in length. Which in real time the eye cannot register when played at 30 fps. 2. A planted image. Regarding what I mentioned in 1. The image could be a blurred still from the original Alien planted into the trailer to keep geeks with no time on their hands busy. The flamethrower is probably being used against the mohawked nutter.

Well anyone can think what they want, I'm sticking to my guns. It's a Xeno.. lol. With all of this overlay image stuff, I realized how they move from scene to scene and how there are multiple scenes in one scene.. etc... you get the idea. Anyway, the guys in the dock seem relaxed.. just walking.. one has a flamethrower.. Something else blasts a flame right at the feet of the guy in front of him and there is another guy on the dunebuggy thing in the line of the flames. Neither one of these guys flintches.. I think they are 2 different scenes. Anyway the flame progresses and looks like it is hitting something.. In the middle of the flames is a creature.. I've seen it, have pictures, but I would rather someone else note what is going on before I post. Have you seen this? lol.. I don't want to post anything until someone else says "Ya I see it"...

Sticking to your guns over a subjective 1-2 frame image, bad idea. Get better/more proof. Regards the flamethrower scene, there is no creature whasoever. Just a guy making sure his flamethrower works.

Your right, it aint, but holding your guns over a 1-2 frame blurry, subjective image isn't gonna persuade the masses that there are Xeno's in Prometheus.
