Alien Day, 26th April, is two weeks away and IGN has released the third in a series of movie shorts made by fans of the Alien franchise to celebrate forty years since the release of Alien.

Last weeks short Alien: Specimen set the bar relatively high with its well-executed acting, lighting, and sound design, especially after the generic though modestly made first short Alien: Containment. This week's short Alien: Night Shift was directed and written by Aidan Michael Brezonick and stars Amber Gaston, Terrance Kieth Richardson, Christopher Murray, and Tanner Rittenhouse

The Alien: Romulus sequel is currently in development and cameras are set to roll by October, 2025! Be sure to bookmark the Alien: Romulus 2 Info Page for an up-to-date account of all available information, production updates and important details!

In addition to the upcoming Alien: Romulus sequel, we have the Alien: Earth TV series from Noah Hawley now streaming and a rumoured Alien vs. Predator reboot in the works as well!

It is good that they kept a lot of it in the dark. I can understand sort of how you would feel when there are nasty things around you that you do not see. We just saw the monster once I think? Having it like this made my imagination going because it could mean that they could be anywhere which makes it a lot scarier.
