Alien: Romulus had one hell of a theatrical run! The Alien / Aliens interquel managed to climb the series ladder, becoming the second highest grossing Alien film of the entire franchise, sitting behind Ridley Scott's Prometheus! The film managed to earn over $350 million at the worldwide box office, approximately $350,423,353 according to Box Office Mojo - $105,282,126 of that domestically.

While Alien: Romulus didn't quite earn as much as the Alien prequel Prometheus, it did vastly outperform Ridley’s last prequel, Alien: Covenant - earning nearly $100 million more.

Reception and feedback for Fede Alvarez's take on Alien was generally positive, with majority of critics and audiences alike thoroughly enjoying the film. Disney and 20th Century Studios have deemed the film successful as well, given its financial return on a near $80 million budget.

Alien: Romulus is currently available to purchase and download digitally through your preferred streaming platforms, with physical copies arriving December 3rd, 2024!

The Alien: Romulus sequel is currently in development and cameras are set to roll by October, 2025! Be sure to bookmark the Alien: Romulus 2 Info Page for an up-to-date account of all available information, production updates and important details!

Excellent news!!

so happy Alien franchise is in such a high peak these days. I once thought the legacy was dead when Alien Resurrection kind of "ending" the franchise, then we have AVP which further destroyed the Alien image lol.

Have to be thankful Sir Ridley for Prometheus, who brought the legacy back. Then we have Alien Isolation which booming the game industry. And Alien Romulus makes such a gigantic financial comeback. Extra extra good!!
