20th Century Studios and Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus has officially made the Oscars shortlist for three significant categories! In the running for Best Visual Effects, Best Original Score and Best Sound, the Alien sequel will be competing against other notable blockbusters like Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, who also made the Best VFX shortlist as well.
Alien: Romulus has also been nominated for a Golden Globes award - a significant achievement considering it's been nearly 40 years since an Alien film was nominated for a Golden Globes award!
The 97th Academy Awards will take place March 2nd, 2025 - we're wishing Fede and the Alien: Romulus crew the best of luck!
