SAN JOSE, California – August 24, 2021 – Cold Iron Studios and 20th Century Games, are proud to announce that Aliens: Fireteam Elite, the new cooperative third-person survival shooter set within the Alien universe, is now available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Steam™.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite drops your fireteam of hardened marines into a desperate fight to contain the evolving Xenomorph threat. With over 20 enemy types, players must face off against waves of terrifying Xenomorph and Weyland-Yutani Synthetic foes alongside two players or AI teammates, as they desperately fight through four unique campaigns that introduce new storylines to the Alien universe.

The game allows players to customize their own Colonial Marine, choosing from an extensive variety of classes, weapons, gear, and perks, battling overwhelming odds in this heart-pounding survival shooter experience.

“It’s been an unbelievable journey bringing the Alien universe to life, and we can’t wait for players to create a fireteam and experience the game,” said Craig Zinkievich, Head of Cold Iron Studios. “Whether you’re a fan of the universe, a veteran survival shooter, or a co-op gaming enthusiast, be prepared for a fight like no other.”

The development team at Cold Iron Studios today also unleashed post-launch content, adding Horde Mode and graphics optimizations with the Day One patch.  On September 8, the studio is launching Season One, with a new character class, “Phalanx,” along with new weapons and new rewards for players.

"We’re delighted that players can now commence their mission to LV-895 and discover the secrets and horrors that await their arrival,” said Sean Shoptaw, Senior Vice President, Walt Disney Games. “Cold Iron Studios has created an incredible Alien experience, which captures the thrill of seeing a rag-tag squad of hardened colonial marines face an overwhelming Xenomorph threat."

Aliens: Fireteam Elite retails for $39.99. A Deluxe Edition is also available for $69.99. This edition includes the Endeavor Pass and the Endeavor Veteran Pack.  The Endeavor Pass contains Seasons 1-4 of cosmetic DLC -- including class kit skins, weapon colors, head accessories and more -- that will be released alongside free major gameplay updates! The Endeavor Veteran Pack will contain over 20 cosmetic items, including armor kit skins, emotes, weapon colors and decals. The Endeavor Pass and Endeavor Veteran Pack will also be available for purchase separately.

Seems it could be FUN.....

Sadly i do-not have the Spec PC for this (mine is 15 Years Old) and well my Power House Games Console is a PS3/Xbox360 which i have NOT Played in 5 Years lol

Maybe one of those could do with a Long Overdue UPGRADE but i said that with the NEW Star Wars Battle Front (I had/loved the Originals from 2004-2005).

Such a good game. There is a lot of Engineer's locations and decorations. Even better than in the films.

Statues, gardens and palaces, underground catacombs with beautiful fire/magma "forges". And, of course, the biomechanical spaceship docks and ship with gorgeous ladder .

love this game so far, great killing experiences with online gamers. Not much hassle or strategy to deal with, a great time killer and immersion to the Alien universe.
