My favorite Alien scene, of course, was the chestburster scene. I'd never seen it's equal before or since. 

My favorite scene in Prometheus was the trilobite reaching out and snatching up the engineer. 

Im looking forward to Alien: Covenant. I can't wait!

Alien: In Alien I have two favorite scenes.. the first is the Chestburster.... still get chills.. and the second was a directors choice... to focus very closely on Ripleys fingers and face as she slowly climbed up to the next level... the terror on her face palpable.. as for Prometheus... scenes of the ship herself were stunning.. and the Engineer's seat... holographics and all was so beautiful. 

Fav scene from original is Ripley quietly getting into the spacesuit. Fav from Prometheus is David quoting Lawrence of Arabia. 

My favorite scene from the first is obviously the chestburster.

And my favorite scene from Prometheus is when the giant tentacle alien eats the human-like alien, just because it's so bad ass.

My favorite Alien scene was when Ash flipped out and tried to kill Ripley and we finally find out he's synthetic and has an alternate mission. As for Prometheus I love the banter between David and Holloway but by far the best was the exploding engineer head! 

My favorite scene from Alien is of course the chestburster scene. There's never been anything like that since. My favorite Prometheus scene was probably the Xenomorph's revival at the end.

Favorite scene from Alien... one of my favorite films if not my FAVORITE of all time... I'm going to say the scene where Brett is killed and we get to see the adult Alien for the first time. For Prometheus it's the MedeVac scene where the little "Alien" is removed from Shaw... That's an amazing scene and she and David are the best characters I hope they bring them back and write a great script with an actual Alien in it...

My favorite scene from Alien is about the alien planet exploration with the climax in the space jokey discovering. The sounds, music and images remains at my mind, 30 years after, as something magic, misterious. Other scenes are very powerfull, probably among the greatest in history (chestbuster, Dean Stanton death, Ash revelation...), but the arrival an discovering of the planet is my best.

In Prometheus, for me, the final departure of the alien ship. Is the promise of what's coming, concerning those alien eggs from the original movie.

My favorite scene in Alien is when the face hugger jumps out of the egg. My favorite scene in Prometheus is the ending when the Alien pops out! 

My favorite scene in Alien is the spaghetti dinner and the broken chest. 

In Prometheus my favorite scene its the intro, the landscapes of the planet and the sacrifice of the engineer.

My favorite scene from the '79 Alien is the scene where Brett gets caught by the Alien beneath the cooling towers. The hiss and closeup shots of the Alien mouth are incredible. It is just beautiful.

From the Prometheus, my favorite scene is the scene where the Deacon comes out of the Engineer. When I first saw it on the Imax screen, the anticipation of what will come out was overwhelming, and the excitement that it IS a proto-Alien was unbelievable.

My favorite scene from Alien was the scene where ripely was running through the ship trying to reach a shuttle.

So many favorite moments in Alien but if I had to pick one it would be when the crew of the Nostromo first encounter the space jockey and alien eggs. My favorite from Prometheus was that ending with the Engineer & the Deacon. Great to see that solid link between that film & the Alien movies.

My favourite scene from Alien was the scene in which the astronauts found the gigantic space jockey. Incredible soundrack. Still very impressive.
My favourite scene from Prometheus was the scene in which David activates the orrery. Then he holds the hologram of the earth in his hands. Just wow!

The scene that kept me on the edge of my seat in Alien was the whole "Dallas in the air shaft" sequence.

In Prometheus the whole sequence where Millburn and Fifield are attacked by the snake like creature and it sprays that corrosive fluid that melts Fifield's helmet. 

My favorite scene of alien is the space jockey and the chest burster, cant decide between the two.

For prometheus it's without a doubt the birth a the deacon, can't wait to see him in action.

it's very tough to say what my favorite scene was in Alien - but it's probably the moment when Kane, Lambert, and Dallas (and us) get to see the crashed Derelict for the first time. it was just such a strange, surreal, and organic ship design.  I've never forgotten my reaction to it when i saw Alien for the first time and have a similar reaction every time I watch the movie.

Conversely, my favorite scene in Prometheus is when the Juggernaut is being activated and just taking off with the Prometheus itself in the background on LV-223.  It was an awesome and impressive effect to get to see it in flight!!

My favorite scene from Alien: the crew member is looking for Jonesy (Ripley's cat) but instead finds his death in the hands of Xenomorph while the cat is watching indifferently. My favorite scene from Prometheus is the engineer scene: the one where the engineer drinks the black goo and then falls down into the water. It gives me shivers every time. 

Favorite scene in Alien has to be the chest burts scene. Super iconic. Lamberts screams are full of true horror! Favorite scene in Prometheus is the unveiling of the "Head Room". I even got it tattooed I liked it so much haha.

My Favorite Scene from Alien is definitely Lambert's and Parker's death. The implications of what the alien did to Lambert is horrifying and really adds to the horror in my opinion. 

My favorite scene in Prometheus is the Fifield mutation scene. While I like the alternate version of this scene with him more Xenomorph like, the scene still held up pretty good in my eyes. The combat was brutal and I was honestly surprised to see Fifield again. 

I guess that's all I have to say, hyuck!

Favorite scene in Alien:

I love the scene that shows Ripley's sweat-covered hands and face as she slowly and very cautiously climbs the ladder in the Nostromo after Lambert and Parker are killed by the Alien. That scene sends chills down my spine every time....

Favorite scene in Prometheus:

The Shaw c-section scene in the MedPod had my jaw hanging open in the theaters when I saw this. I never get tired of watching this part and thought the attention to detail and suspense easily made this my favorite moment in Prometheus. 

My favorite scene from ALIEN is when Ash's head ripped off and it's revealed he was a company android.

"Ash is a goddamn robot!!!"

My favorite scene from PROMETHEUS was when David rode the bicycle around the court and made a basketball shot. 

Face hugger bleeding acid could be my favorite.

Fave scene in Alien is the chestburster. Prometheus would be when she does the c-section on herself.

Hard to pick one from either film.  The chestburster seen, where all the actors other than Hurt don't know what is going to happen, is awesome, but I think I like scene where they first enter the alien ship.  The sense of wonder and awe mixed with foreboding is great.

With Prometheus, I think my favorite scene is when Weyland meets the engineer, because it is so karmic.

My favorite scene in Alien is of course the chest bursting scene!

My favorite scene in Prometheus is when Dr. Shaw opens the door on the Engineer and the tillobite attacks him allowing her to escape.

My favorite scene from Alien is Dallas death, the way the Xenomorph looks like it wants to hug him is so goofy yet it terrified me when I was younger.

And my favorite scene from Prometheus was the end credit.......

My favorite scene in Alien is when Ripley is about to lay to cryosleep, thinking the nightmare is finally over, but then oh no, there is an uninvited guest on the deck.

As for Prometheus, fight between engineer and trilobite. That desperate fight for life against much stronger facehugger. I was rooting for the engineer.

Favorite scene in Alien was when Brett was looking for Jonesy, and the xenomorph was hiding amongst the chains. I love the way it knew to camouflage itself, and the look of horror and disbelief on Brett's face.

In Prometheus, I think my favorite part was when they first started exploring the Engineer's base/ship. To see some of the artifacts was fascinating. 

My favorite scene from Alien would have to be the acid blood sinking through the layers of the ship. The shock and surprise at something the crew could not yet grasp, was amaIng.

My favorite scene from Prometheus would have to be when they arrived and found the cylinders. The imagery going back (or in a sense, forshadowing?) Was brilliant.

My favorite scene in Alien (1979) was Ripley's escape from the room with the self-destruct controls, through the Nostromo corridors, and into the Narcissus. Her slinking away from the titular monster around the corner tapped on primal fears of the unknown.

I liked David's moment of surprise in Prometheus (2012) when he found that Dr. Shaw had a symbiote-contaminated fetus inside her. His stifled display of intrigue, self-blame, and re-calculation showed several aspects of his character. He blamed himself for allowing the contamination to spread without controlled conditions, and was determining the best way to preserve his callous little 'project' to find the answer to the mystery of the Engineers.

Favorite scene in ALIEN.. Final where Ripley blows & incinerates ALIEN out to oblivion.

Prometheus... End where Engineer is tricked & trapped for Heroine escape.

I love all the exterior scenes in both movies!

Mr. Scott has a skill to set a scene to help tell his stort and he does it well!!

Favorite scene in Alien:  Ripley finding the alien in the Narcissus.

Favorite scene in Prometheus:  When Captain Janek reveals his accordion was once the property of Steven Stills.  

That means in 2094 A.D. Stephen Stills's 130-year-old accordion is still in the wreckage on LV-223!
