Either funky made a very big typo or just gave away a plot twist, I'm leaning towards typo with them calling the protomorph a "XENOMORPH"

@Resurgence

I don't think the term "Protomorph" has ever been used in an official context. I think it's still considered to be a Xenomorph, even though the ones we've seen in most pictures and trailers seem less biomechanical than the traditional one.

More and more, I'm wondering if there is not really a distinction at all - that this "Protomorph" is really just the new Xeno design they're going with for the rebooted franchise. Other than the monolithic stone alien-cluster poster, has there been any depiction of a traditional biomech Xeno?

In the poster there was no bio-mechanical detail on the xenomorphs I would know I have the poster as my background what about the fact that the "DAVID" figure is Walter I doubt that was just a naming oversight.
