RIDLEY SCOTT IMPRESSED BY ALIEN: THE PLAY

Unfortunately in this post the Ridley Scott's letter is so compressed that it became unreadable.

You can find it in the forum section, if you follow the links with more coverage of the story that made it to the national tv news, unlike the 6 fan made shorts that won the Alien 40th Anniversary Tongal / Fox competition.

It's been confirmed: encore performances will take place in the near future!

Let's hope someone with a steady hand & decent camera skills records a performance!

 Lone I believe this is one of the good reasons for an encore, to make it available online.

That's an opportunity that cannot be missed.

Exactly, thousands+ Alien fans want to be able to view the fantastic achievement that this play has proved to be.

Mr Perfecto Cuervo makes everything to perfection. And has his wonderful family full suport. Check out the surprise cake they got for him:

The Bridge of Nostromo is being put back for the encore performance.

Mouse in the House- You should be taking notes and realizing the demographics. If you don't, someone else will. It may not have the Disney/Fox blessing, but the fans will follow and support creativity. 

They are even good at marketing, you feel that it's something important, excitementis rising. It would be nice to have some special alien guests in the audience and, of course, to RECORD THE SHOW for those who cannot be there.

The 40th Alien Anniversary is good so far.

With Black Out, The Play, The Isolation videos and the IGN Series all with no really official news for 4/26, this already seems like the best year already. 

I have learned that the build up is actually better than the main event.

I welcome being proven wrong.

daliens It might be a pipe dream, but I like to think Scott Free will keep its word per the letter and there would obviously be open invitations to supporters- especially the ones who gave either written or Twitter video support!

dk the encore is per the letter, no doubt everyone delivers as promised. Just please somebody record the event properly.

This is a memorable year, alright, waiting for the big guys to share some love.

daliens I would assume the event would be recorded. If nothing else, I would expect students to coordinate efforts on the sly........

I also don't belive Scott Free would throw in support without having something to show for it?

Tickets on sale 4/16 at 10 AM EST!

General admission tickets will go on sale through Eventbrite  on 4/16 at 10 AM EST.  Tickets will be very limited.  You will only be able to purchase 2 tickets per user.  The Township of  North Bergen will also provide tickets to North Bergen residents through the Recreation Center sometime this week.  I will update when those tickets are on sale.  All proceeds from ticket sales will be used to fund future plays, art projects, and scholarships for our talented students.  We are currently filing for 501 (c) (3) status and will update when available.

Siggy was there, on stage at NBHD, to introduce Alien: The Play:

“This is the night I’ve been waiting for,” Weaver said after taking the stage to thunderous applause. "I’m so excited.

“I’ve only been here a couple of hours, but I can tell this is a very special place and a very special town, and in a school like this, you have extraordinary teachers and certainly one of those is Perfecto Cuervo (who directed the production along with art director Steven Defendini).”

NBHD above should read as NBHS (North Bergen High School).

WOW, I'm still staggered by how incredible the costumes & props are!

Wish I was Stateside so I could purchase a ticket!

For limited Experience in Effects, and a LOW Budget a lot of Time and Love was put into this Project...

I am glad they are getting the Recognition they have earned.

So great to see Sigourney herself paid the play a visit! Unreal!
