Alien/AVP merged and Fictional Timeline !!!

The only similarities in that bunch are west world and blade runner is shaving ryans privates a rip off of apocalypse now and a hundred other war films that pre date that.? planet of the vampires is million miles from giger designs total original even though the essential plot has been done a million times . and of course there is metropolis that pre dates the lot in robotic terms.

a pacing error and oversight from the director, nothing more... Although some people have suggested that the Predators may have manipulated the Aliens genome to make them mature quicker for the hunt.

i think ridley was inspired by sam peckinpah for action sequences in black hawk.

Ok Snorky Here are the rest of my notes from my Viewing of the The Two AVP films this past weekend. 1- for anyone, especially FOX to have "GREENLIGHTED" for "Requiem" A Female Army SGT. named.."Ellen O'Reily" and have her new interest {when her husband gets eaten} be a guy named "DALLAS" is 100% beyond nay rational thought I am capable of...Just the mere idea that a bunch of suits at FOX sat in a room and green lit this and No One said a WORD is incomprehensible to me, and how they can do that and expect any of it to be counted as "CANON" after doing it is disgracefull and without merit and effotless, No wrong word, it is lacking in any effort what so ever and as deploreable as any part of that very idea can get. 2-The Franchise Name was changed for a Reason-To seperate it from anything in the Ridley Scott created universe. 3-FOX is the true culprit here...Dark Holrse Comics mixed the two and FOX thought it was a good enough idea to make a quicxk buck and a film quickly out of it all. 4-The use of the term "Chosen Ones" in the first film spoke volumes. Left and Right the 1st film attempts to wrap itself in the Ancient Astronaut Theory and even oputs up a "Sacrificial Chamber" for "offerings To The G-ds". Words are used like..."The Bones are Bent staright out" and "They Gave Thier Lives So The Hunt Could Begin"...the y throw ina Queen Xeno lAying Eggs at will for The Predatorial Race, and include archilogical carvings depicting Predators as The AA's. 5-What has happend to the year 2104? - Where's the next film in which the predators come back for the next "Hunger Ganes" LMFAO. 6-Why would any Alien Culture Visit earth but construct a Pyramid 2,000 feet below sea level in Antarctica and then just LEAVE their guns buried in an ancient circoughagus outsied their own Pyramids secret Sacrifical Chamber"...?...it;'s RETARDED..MAKES ZERO SENSE... 7-If the plan was to trick Humans into coming to the pyramid, why would they have it pre-set to reconfigure itself every ten minutes, anotyher absolutely reiculous and unfathomable aside from competely retarded idea that does not work properly or ever get explained properly in ther film. 8-2004-2175 = 170 years...Bishop dies right there in 2004...any off spring involved in the mission of Prometheus would have to be several generations removed from Bishop 9-FOX, by making the Predators the Ancient Aliens has pinned Ridley Scott into a corner forcing hi to weihter debuke all of their story and timeline completely or embrace it as canon...he has no other choice because of the suits at FOX now. 10-The comment "To restore order the Guards Need their guns" lso makes zero sense and is retarded because the carvings and staues themselves depict the [redators wht e guns on thier shoulders. not in some box for the dead outside the "Sacrificial Chamber" 11-The Xenos show uo to free the Queen, excpet all ofthe sudden tey have EYES and they are ORANGE. 100% Irrsponsingle of FOX and I am still in shock they did that. 12-The Entire Requiem is void of any credibility whatsoever. One loook at the cast and it is clear this was about money...the guy from That 70's show...Coooome Oooooon Man you got to be kidding me. 13- So all ofthe sudden a new kind of Predator ship has shown up whch has a completely different pod system for deploying Predators on earth, WTF? seriously, that is not just an error, it's a cluster____ you know what. 14-The Face Huggers are all of the sudden BROWN. 15-In one scene, DALLAS is helpoing I.D. Ray's dead body, only Dallas is dressed asa cop now wiht the same cop hat as the rest of them. 16-The predators are now erasin evidence? But they come back every 100years and want to influence us why are they erasin evidenced of them being here? Stipidity at best !!! That would be enough for now I think. Its not bad, Ryan Reynolds is a riot as usual, heres your answers... 1. I agree with you the choice of character names is pathetic at best, but these characters are of no importance, they are merely pawns in a big story. BTW this is not the first time such name dropping has happened, remember Bill Paxtons character in Predator 2 - Jerry "the lone ranger" [b]Lambert[/b]. 2. The name is descriptive of the product. I film called Batman will contain DC's Batman, thus a film called Alien Vs Predator will have the Alien fighting against the Predator. Not terribly original or thought provoking I know, but thats hollywood for you. 3. Quickly, I'm afraid not sparky FOX held of for a hell of a long time before AVP got greenlit. What got it greenlit was Paul W S Anderson's ideas, which when crossed with Dan O'Bannons became the film we saw. But it's Dan's genius regards the dual-layered narrative that makes the film more than what it is. 4. The terms used were from the ancient humans perspective. All the Predators did was show the way regarding ancient technology and society, nothing more. the ancient humans revered them as gods because of their "supernatural" nature. The Predators are of course not supernatural but from an ancient humans perspective the Predators technology would have been akin to magic, just as Arthur C Clarke said. 5. 2104, this probably would have happened if it hadn't been for the final scene in AVP were the Alien burst through the Predators chest, with mandibles. From that point on we were bound to see that creature. Although interestingly enough in the first draft of the screenplay the Pred-Alien died within minutes of the film starting. 6. Okay firstly the Pyramid, way back when would have been at sea level. It was Anderson's and O'Bannons intention that people lived in Antarctica during the ice age, at which time global sea levels would have been lower than they are now. As to whether the numbers match up, I don't know but that was the idea. That said I don't think it was 2000 feet below sea level. As for the guns being in the Pyramid they were probably placed their in 1904 ready for the next hunt (2004), after the "coming of age" hunt that happened at that time. 7. It does, if you pay attention (although what they state is fiction not fact). Humans are attracted to the Pyramid by it being activated, powering up. Once inside they poke around and find the guns (Plasmacasters). upon finding the guns they trigger the maze/trap feature of the Pyramid - in which it changes every 10 minutes (because aztec calender was allegedly metric) to confuse the prey and keep the Aliens trapped inside. This 10 minute maze/trap feature has nothing to do with attracting the humans, the humans were attracted by the heat bloom of the Pyramid powering up. 8. Okay I think I see the confusion here... Michael Bishop. Remember the films and only the films are canon... is there a Michael Bishop identified in the credits of Alien 3 - NO. The character is named Bishop II, inferring the character is an android/synthetic. Personal preferences aside it makes more sense for the character to be an android/synthetic because of one line "the company sent a face you could trust", if Ripley had never trusted Bishop I in the final moments of Aliens, would they have sent Hicks, claiming the other to be an android/synthetic. That out of the way, the bloodline is simple - Charles Bishop Weyland, Father of Peter Weyland... and thats it. 9. I thought I had explained the difference, I shall try again... Predators teach us tech and society, nothing more whereas (allegedly) the space Jockeys create us. Thus... Predators = Teachers, Space Jockeys = Parents/Creators/Gods Which is of greater importance and has the greatest impact, The SJs of course, because if they had not created us the Preds would not have been able to teach us. There are many AA theories, not just one - AA creators, AA teachers, AA slavedrivers, AA ancestors, AA descendants, AA relatives, AA farmers etc. etc. etc. 10. Think of the order of events in the film. The moment the humans took the guns all hell broke loose, the trap/maze feature kicked in, the eggs appeared etc. In ancient times as soon as the Predators got their guns the mechanisms of the Pyramid would have kicked in giving them prey to hunt and a maze to hunt in. The collection of the guns was the trigger for the hunt to begin. 11. Orange Aliens with eyes, I don't recall that and I have seen the film a good number of times. Pic as proof for that one, think you may have hallucinating. 12. I refer you to point 1. The characters are not important, just the beats of the events and their ramifications and effects. 13. Which ship? AVP, this ship is the mothership, the tribeship. Predators are tribal, a tribe is made up of clans, and clans are made up of hunting parties. The 3 Predators are a hunting party, the Predators aboard the ship in AVPR/Predator 2 are a clan and the big ship is the tribe. As for the pods it was the first time we saw them up close, yes they were launched in atmosphere, but only because the other Predators remained nearby to observe the hunt, intervening had the Aliens overrun. 14. In AVPR, yes they are. Why, i don't know. But to propose a theory - they could have been old facehuggers. We know the tissue of FH's sheds, creating a new layer of polarized silicon to protect itself from their environment. Maybe they had been in containment for a long time and their tissue had darkened accordingly. 15. I refer you to point 11. Pic for proof! 16. The Predators do not come back every 100 years to influence us, they come back every 100 years to hunt the Alien, the ultimate prey as a "coming of age" ritual, a rite of passage. They only influenced us 1000's of years ago by teaching us tech and society. The blue liquid (which magically never runs out BTW) is used to eliminate any evidence of the Alien, because the Predators know how dangerous it is and wish for the humans to not know of its existence. Have at that Sparky, my son. I will be happy to clear up any points you don't get. but I need to pics for proof on two of 'em, because like I said I have seen both films a great number of times and don't recall either of what you claim.

the orange eyes {not the Aliens themselves...their eyes} 100% and I have to screen cap it for you to see it but have no access from home yet...soon...But I will make a point of doing it...it's unmistakable. At the very beginning of requiem the ship and the pod delivery system are suddenyl completely different and rather than coming down in the same pods they came down in hours earlier they came down in completely diffrent structures and land this time in water and materialize out of it. Again hours earlier they were all delivered in a completely different manner featuring cylindrical pods. They wish for Humans to not know of the XENO's existence yet they are being bred to become them?...willingly...?....something isn't right with that IMO. In the extended features of Alien 3 Bishop is clearly Human, his ear injury is revealing a Human scalp underneath plus there is alot of blood on the ear as well and no white goo. If the new guy in the TED video is suppoosed to be Peter, he is over 170 years old now so sorry, I need more of an expanation on this one...it is 170 years from the start of AVP up to the Nostromo in 2175, and that's just assuming his son was born the day he died...other wise it makes even less sense. Just some thoughts and well done Snorky, thank you for your patience and your attention to this. I can "dig" just about every observation you made. It will be so great to see which angles Ridley decided to take on all this which he will play which he will ignore and how the AA if at all fits into any of it.

orange eyes - I think I know which shot you mean, that sparky is a reflection of the flames surrounding the Queen. The 3 Preds in AVP where dropped near the whaling station for their hunt, the ship in AVPR crashed because one douchebag Predator, probably young, blew a hole in the hull, the Wolf Predator in AVPR dropped in water because it was an emergency, he needed to get to earth ASAP. Not ancient humans, modern humans. It ties into Predator 2, the O.W.L.F. (Gary Busey) know of the Predators existence and have attempted to capture one, the Predators know this and know the ramifications, better than anyone, what would happen if the O.W.L.F. were to capture a specimen of the Alien, thus prevention is better than cure - eliminate all evidence of the Alien so that O.W.L.F. or other human organizations or corporations are unaware of the Aliens existence. If you wanted to persuade Ripley would you send a human, or a synthetic masquerading as a human. And the credits state the name Bishop II, you cannot escape that. Firstly the Nostromo incident occurred in 2122, not 2175. In Aliens Ripley confronts Burke about sending newts parents to investigate the Derelict, the date of the order gives the year '79, At the start of the film Burke states that Ripley had been in hypersleep for 57 years... 79 minus 57 = 22. Charles Bishop Weyland died in 2004, Peter Weyland (his son) was born in 2000, and is 23 in the TED video (suffers from the same aging problem as JF Sebastien in Bladerunner). Beyond that I don't follow - do you think Peter Weyland was alive at the time of Alien, I doubt it, he probably bites it in Prometheus.
