Spin-off?

Hey Guys and Gals, This is just a thought, but with all the talk on this forum on the origins of the Weyland Corporation and the interest behind it, would it be cool to have a spin-off circling around just Weyland and its dirty little dealings? What I mean is something that involves a parallel storyline without "Alien" themes? No doubt Prometheus is going to leave us with more questions than answers and although Ridley has hinted at a sequel, surely there is room for a whole new take on the "Alien" universe and if Mr Scott had anything to do with it then it could only be immense! I know I'm getting way ahead of myself here but just look at Battlestar Galactica and how it got re-booted with a more modern tone and structure, not to mention how well it done! I know a lot of you are probably thinking this guys mad and how that is NOT in line with the original 'Alien' theme, but before you all do a Khan and from hells heart spit at me, I just want you all to think past June 1st and how you may be doing an Oliver Twist and asking 'Can I have some more Sir Ridley?' Granted we the general public know little or nothing about what Prometheus is all about, In fact [i]we could be so wrong!![/i] but I know that when the summers over and we've all seen this eagerly anticipated film, I for one will be wanting more! In fact I think I'm more excited about the fact that Ridley is delving into the universe he created back in 1979 than I am about Xeno's and such! In short, would it be that bad if Fox might decide to do a story solely on the Weyland Corporation, with Ridleys blessing of course? Thoughts?
