'The last 8 minutes is a prequel to Alien'...illogical

Ha lol.....i was just thinking.....imagine after Prometheus, the kids are left wanting more but theyve never seen Alien. They want a sequel......you tell them, yes it was made 30 odd years ago its called Alien lol.

@craigamore I was half joking...Yes it would be unwise to call it a prequel because then people would expect just another Alien movie, but set earlier in time. I understand he wants to explore new ideas and is therefore distancing himself from the well known Alien series, a wise decision. We now realise that whilst exploring a different part of the universe that this still is a prequel, and Ridley's initial denial was pretty much part of the marketing strategy...I am digging fun at this, because in a way it was a bit of a fib
