More than ONE species in those Ampules?

Interesting theories! I thigk we pretty much agree that the activity all occur simultaneously (the wall change that Shaw notes (assuming it climaxes with the Xeno relief) & the activity of the ampules (dancing worm like life) ) so if they all happen at once is it b/c it is triggered by the presence of the human crew our some action they perpetrate?..are these organic building blocks that become active when near something it can or **wants to** merge with and the Xeno mural shows what that something will evolve into...in this case a classic xeno form maybe this is instantly recognizable to the SJ/Blue men as EVIL due to our humanness which is frought with good & evil and this becomes apparant in the actions of the crew as the come in contact with the goo/worms that changes them, so what you see is an enhancement of their dominant traits getting post on in the metamorphosis...the end result being the classic xeno we are so familiar with & the SJs recognize how dangerous it/we are & set out to destroy us/Earth as a result. This is in line with traditional thoughts on the xeno life in the Alien series..thus we are the original creators of the xeno. Lots of holes in this but I also think it ties some pieces together too. I do believe the Blue men are synthetics & serve same purpose as David perhaps they recognize this & work together...our perhaps I'm wrong & David has to bate them & is the "hero" of this story & mimics the David & Goliath story further drawing religious symbolism....

Alien and SJ POV's worked well in predator but i dunno if i wanna see it in this movie. Imagine the first ALien movie and we see humans running around from the aliens pov, ruins it right? @GEM]n[ Yes when the guy fires maybe, but get swiped away by a giant hand.... the walls have arms?

In one trailer the heads mouth is open and in all the others it is closed. omg!!!!!

It's the scene where Shaw looks up with her torch ... there are only a few seconds of video but the start and end of it are below ... I have rotated the last frame so it sort of lines up with the first ... then cropped it ...

nice, but now it makes me think that the xenosculpture in the wall is the end of that wall changing process.

Well She does look atthe Wall and say its Changing and Vickers says into what? And the shape does in some parts look like some part of the Mural. But when i look at Start and end Frame i see something disapear rather than apear?

@ Gemn... that animation could become the mural, but I'm also inclined to go with the healing idea. If you look at the crack on the "end frame" pic and compare it to same crack in the "start frame" pic, the crack has receeded. BTW are these two pics not chronologically the other way round, the "start frame" pic seems to have relief elements that may become the mural, whereas the "end frame" pic doesn't.

I believe the Xeno mural is the final stage of the wall transformation...it certainly seems that all of the activity is simultaneous (the dancing worm like creatures, the ping on the probes, the wall mural, etc) perhaps based on something the crew of the Prometheus either does ....OR.......perhaps the ampules are activated when they come in contact or near something they **WANT** to merge with similar to how the original egg in Alien became active when Kane came near it (think the general consensus is the ampules contain building blocks...this could mean that the wall change mural could show what the outcome of that merging of the ampulae DNA and human DNA would look like as the end result... perhaps our inherent mankind problems create a monster, the Xeno form we are familiar with but in proto form (symbolizing that we are not capable of handling this knowledge that we are reaching for)....the FIRST Xeno and ironically it is our creation not the SJ's because of some bad traits that make us human... what if the SJ recognize that it is evil and set out to erase it's origin (us)...I'm not entirely convinced that the Big Blue Men aren't synthetics...I'm guessing they serve a similar purpose to the SJ race as David does to us as I've read others specualte as well...either that or perhaps there is more Biblical imagery with David being established with David actually being the hero of the film and is set up for a David vs Goliath type of confrontation with the Big Blues...idk, lot's of holes but let's face it we can go anywhere with the plot based on 2 minutes of trailer footage..

@Snorke ... they are the right way round as they played in the trailer ... ;) ... whether they reversed it on purpose I don't know ... I used Trailer 2 Mar 18th [iTunes] ... scroll back and forth and you will get a better 'blend' ...

@BigDave ... yes the arm like features do disappear as in it looks like it's either changing into something?, camouflaging? or healing? ...

also the more I look at the frames Gem]n[ posted it kind of looks like a globe, possibly the Earth...I see what **could be continents** but then again its Giger so it's just as easily something sexual in orientation or nothing at all in these frames as it's justforming....but I could see a scenario where an Earth globe image morphs into the Xeno form....kind of an ominous prelude to what could await Earth..

We NEED another trailer :) ...

In the trailer.....this part of the ship is in the ceiling. You can see the dumdum head to the left. This is why i thought that this room is directly below the SJ chair. And this is what is seen from below as the hologram starchart fires up in the room above. That mural is actually the right size and shape to be INSIDE the head......me thinks.
