Doesnt make sense

After reading that last article that was shown on this site. I got the impression Scott and/or Lindehof saying the blueish humanoids or SpaceJockeys, and wearing the suits you see in the pice above make them look elephant head. but should be masks.

Maybe it's a museum, like here we can see those old knight or samurai harnasses :p

Well some good questions and we wont know the answers for sure. This movie i feel will take a science angle and thats Basically throwing at that a God is real out, and going with the theory that say the Summarian and Egyption Gods where mearly higher advance Space Traveling Humaniods who Stood Twice as Tall as Man. This is the Blue Guy, the Alien/Promethues answer to the Summarian Anunaki tale. You question why would they whipe out there creation... well you could say why does Real God of the Bible/Koran wipe out Mankind before..... thats not a loving forgiving God. The reasons why in the Bible was not only because Man was becoming Evil but the Seed/Purity of Mankind was poluted and became Hybrids so God had to cleanse the Earth but save the Pure that being Noah. I dont think the Space Jockeys or Engineers as they now seem to be called, planed to Wipe out Mankind... unless they wanted to years ago but some how all died out apart from a few or One? I can only assume that Mankind finds the Temple on that Planet and the Canisters or Secret of creating Life a secret that holds Great Power but with Great consequences. And maybe the Engineers find out Mankind is planning to take their secret back to Earth to use themselves, or plain simple they Engineers do not want us to even know about their little secret yet alone take some back. So they have to stop us, and as Earth already knows about this System now, its not simply a case of Blow up Promethues. Its like when say Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas and they was the only place on Earth with Oil that could lead to the route of all Evil. The Natives of the Americas could destroy Christopher Columbuses Ships.... but they know chances are the East would just keep sending ships in future or potentially word could reach back to the East about the treasures of America. It would be like the Native Americans back in those days having Nukes and thinking looks like we got to go and wipe all of the europeans out to Stop them ever comming here in future. Remember the the Story of Prometheus is the Titan who gave Mankind Fire which he Stole from the Gods (other Titans). This is linked to Movie. Like Fire, the stuff in those Pods could be another secret of the Gods/Space Jockeys only this is one Secret that none of them are going to give to Man, its a case of Man comming to their kindom to Take it. Just if you will it was not Prometheus or stole Fire to give to man, but say it was Man who stole Fire from the Gods, it would then be Man who would get punished and not the Titan Prometheus.

The real God of the bible doesnt wipe out man.......nor the Koran God nor any other God for that fact. Man wipes out man........every time. Weve never seen gods start wars........only men. Or women depending on your point of view lol.

"Most of the logical human race thinks we are here from natural evolution" I, as a believer in God, can see your position as being just as illogical, but I choose not to refer to you or other non-believers in that negative manner.....we can discuss our opinions with an open mind and not refer to people we disagree with in that light, with that kind of connotation. I enjoy hearing differing opions and respect you for yours...... To your point, whatever part the SpaceJockies play in man's existence or advancement, it would seem to me that the Jockies were not expecting man's advancement to the point of literal contact on THEIR world and or, once contact was made, Man's arrogant entitlment to the idea that we can investigate and sample anything we discover as though it is ours, hence the film's corollation with the Promethean myth, enrages them to the point that they decide we've grown too big for our own britches and the time has come to put us in our place..... It's like the crew walk across the SpaceJockey's threshold, refuse to wipe their feet and then start treating everything they find as fair game....oooh this pretty or interesting, I think I'll take some.......... The truly interesting question is what about them visiting earth so terrifies our crew?....What specifically has Shaw believing that if the crew doesn't do something, "there won't be any home to go back to"? The why is not so difficult to imagine....whatever the SpaceJockey's relationship to humanity is....it's not that difficult to imagine an intelligence indifferent and malevolent enough to regard our species as worth annihilating...especially once we've made it clear that our ambition exceeds the sense to proceed cautiously......

Maybe they made us for scientific testing or something...similar to how humans breed lab rats for science? We probably mean absolutely nothing to them. I really doubt that they see us as their "children" as many seem to think. They may have created us, but when humans create bacteria, do we see the bacteria as our children? Nope. Compared to them were probably just like bacteria or something. Who really knows until we see the movie?
