Probably nothing....(pic comparison)

Just to be clear - I'm not rooting for any humans to or not to turn into SJ's. I just noticed the images seemed to have the same distinct feature (missing nose-bridge). Another interesting note - once the shit hits the fan in the trailer you really dont see much of Holloway. I realize all the scenes can be out of order, but you generally only see scenes with Logan Marshal Green in what appears to be the first two thirds of the movie. Now granted that's all speculation on my part since I have no idea when these scenes take place, but here's what I believe the order to be: [u]Scenes featuring Holloway[/u] [list] With Shaw discovering the maps Briefing the team In Prometheus while its landing/approaching the planet? In the temple and getting infected? Making out with Shaw, and then sitting in bed next to her? (for all we know this may take place before they even land on the planet.) Heading out to the temple for a second trip...or coming back from a second trip. Either way he's changing/mutating in this pic. - (Third image in the first post) [/list] ....and I think that's it. There's plenty of more action/horror scenes with Shaw, Vickers, and most of the other characters...none of which include Holloway. Feel free to add in any scenes I may have missed.

With all due respect, I hope it isn´t so. The host concept is as worn out as the Xenomorph. Ridleys "ant comparison" in the Sydney Morning Herald really sparked my impression of an "elephant in the room" kind of plot in Prometheus - the truth was there all the time, we just didn´t see it. I hope the real shock lies in an unbearable and shocking truth, that´s hard to absorbe and comprehend. Like thinking of the universe and where it stops, can drive you crazy, because you can´t wrap your brain around it.

I don't care one way or another if any character ends up being the Jockey/Blue Guy. I just want a damn good Sci-Fi movie.

I DO think that Holloway is in some way changed/transformed into Mr Blue. I feel like there is something really sinister about that. Like when Sir Ridley said in an interview regarding the alien from the original move "They're weapons" Perhaps what shaw turn into could be some equivelent of "they're soldiers" or "they're tools". I bet the "Engineers" as their now dubbed only use all of the monsters/aliens they've spawned some sort of practical use.

So hold on a sec... We have now seen EEL-like things with sharp teeth bursting forth from peoples chests in what?...6 movies now over the last 33 odd years, but now we also have a remarkably familiar EEL-like thing with teeth in Prometheus but suddenly its a SYMBIOTIC lifeform??? Geebus, thats kind of a stretch isnt it??

But I'm worried our expectations are too high. Maybe the film is nothing more than a recycling of old ideas. Maybe what we've guessed from the trailers is all there is to it, and this is just a decent popcorn film like the SW prequels. I certainly hope that's not the case.

yeah, he looks freaky.. the comparison, he definitely looks different regarding the short time of infection..in the foto he is returning to the Prometheus with his hands waving strangley.. or maybe just swollen?

It looks almost like his skin has turned plastic. Yeah, freaky. The thing about all of the plot speculation is that no film could possibly tie so many things up into a tidy package of answers. A story will unfold, and all of the answers and speculation will likely be met by more questions and further speculation. This will enthrall some people and absolutely disappoint others. Curious about this threads speculation, in that it links Halloway to the giant head, which would be entirely strange if someone actually mutated into the "god" figure. That would bring about some very strange speculation.

Or perhaps blue man just came out of one the the sarcophagi and thats why some of them are broken lol.
