Theories about Fifield and the engineer

Hey all! I have wondered about the shots from the trailers where we see the engineer attacking shaw and... how do you think the engineer gets inside the prometheus? Some of us have suggested that Fifield is mutating into that engineer aboard the prometheus but I don't think so...It makes sense in some ways, but I still think Fifield is mutating into something we haven't seen yet, something new...
