EXPLANATION for Queen, cocoons, and Alien Deleted Scene.

Some of you are suggesting that the queen from aliens was the one who laid the eggs in alien? That has never been suggested. So how would it have gotten to Hadleys Hope? Much like in alien...a single face hugger was the culprit. Either the chestburster coming from Newt's father was a regular drone or it was a queen. I like combining the two ideas. I've always felt Newt's dad's chestburster was a drone. Like in alien it created a nest. Turned its next victim into an egg. I believe if the nostromo hadn't been destroyed and Ripley not frying Brett and Dallas, that eventually Brett's facehugger would have attached to Dallas. In turn Dallas' chestburster would have been a queen. To me makes the alien more adaptable.

Well the deleted Alien scene did touch upon a different way, but then it was not explained very much not even since the movie, it has just as many unanswered questions as the Derelict on LV426 etc.... Aparently the new creature (talking not one indigenous to LV 223 temple) but one thats created via a serries of events, is suposed to be simular to all of the creatures in Alien Franchise but as a combination.... it is also based off the Orginal Alien Script Star Beast... Not much more detail than that, but maybe it means this new creature is indeed part Xeno, Part Face Hugger....... etc Thus bypasses the Egg element and people changing into Eggs.

You could also explain the varying life-cycle behaviors through DNA programmed accelerated evolution. One of the characteristics of the Alien could be that as well as growing very fast upon post-gestational chest-birth the species itself evolves new reproductive abilities in response to varying environmental adversities thus making it an even-more perfect survivor. The Queen could in fact be one such evolution.

I said something sort of similar in another thread about don't link Prometheus and Alien to ALIENS. People continue to talk about the queen idea. The queen idea was James Cameron's NOT Ridley Scott's. We can see from Prometheus that Ridley is no way going down that line. Aliens was good film but Alien is Ridleys own and Aliens shouldn't be accounted for when going to see Prometheus when it comes out. Do people get were am coming from?
