afterlife?

Ridley Scott said in EMPIRE magazine that given the age of the earth, life could have easily evolved to a advanced state before us and by now all that would be of it is carbon. I personally think it's touching more on evolution rather than religion. The jockeys for me are simply a more evolved human being. Who's to say that one day will not have the technology to give immortal life. Touching on the name also Prometheus in the Weyland TED speech it's about sacrafice to gain technology. It's why the west loves a good crusade, war above anything else accelerates technology.
