Hi everyone, I translated large parts of the 'Prometheus' special issue of the french magazine “L'Écran Fantastique”. You can download it **here** as a nice lookin .pdf or **here** as text-only (.pdf and .doc). I tried to make it clear what part is from the magazine's reporters (smaller bold lighter blue) or me (italic smaller bold lighter blue) and from cast & crew (regular size darker blue) so you can have a better appreciation of the reliability of the info... For instance, on page 2 of the PDF: "Faced with the threat such acquisition represents, its creators decide to stop the intruders and fly a ship targeted at Earth. To prevent the extinction of mankind, the Prometheus has no other choice but to cause a collision. The extraterrestrial ship is nothing less than the Derelict, seen as a wreck in Alien. Its pilot, the Space Jockey, very much alive this time, holds an essential role in the panic that strikes the survivors of such terrifying adventure." is a sentence by the magazine's reporter. There are reasons to believe they went ahead of themselves with that and it's nothing more than their interpretation, as other info from more reliable sources does contradict that. To make it clear, IMO it is most probably careless summarizing of stuff by the reporter and not reliable info. All in all, best quality info is written in 'regular size darker blue' font Also: I did the editing to make it nicer and easier to read. It does not match the magazine's formatting, hence the location and association of images was done only just by me. I tried to make it relevant or funny whenever possible (Weyland in Theron's interview / Shaw for 'In the corridors of the Prometheus' etc..). Do not look for meaning beyond that. In particular, I thought it was nice to close the PDF with a tribute to Boleji Badejo... you know, cause it links to Alien and the picture “ain't exactly a xenomorph”... a thread was opened by BigDave in the 'spoiler free' section **here**. I opened this thread here so spoilers could be discussed and because BigDave's thread links to the wrong pdf. Anyway, hope you enjoy that! Cheers! -T.

@iapetus ... Haha ... I'm just weirder than most ;) ... There has been a heck of a lot you new guys have missed (I have too) ... what I have seen and spoken about since I arrived in March has been HUGE ... you only have to miss a day or two and you're out of the loop ... It is a damn shame but near impossible to find the cream of the crop posts made by the others as well ...

@Windood well, that's not really how I have been considering to do it. I was thinking a 2 part review, starting with personnal spoiler-free comments about general appreciation (overall film/plot/actors/visual effects etc...). This could easily be copied into another thread in the 'spoiler-free' section. Then a synopsis of the film's storyline with just as many details as one can expect to remember. I really don't get it how people begging for it should not get it. Who am I / are you to establish whether people should be able to access it or not? I have already defended that position: I would love to have Ridley Scott spoil it all for me right now before seeing it if I could. Because my enjoyment really doesn't dwell in the 'surprise effect'... which I find quite a weak way to enjoy and justify seeing a movie - though it's only my opinion. Even for those who "shouldn't but can't control themselves". Seriously, you can't expect to prevent those who really don't mind spoilers like me to access the info just to babysit those who would click 'against their will' and regret it. If you want it unspoiled just don't come here lookin for it. Also, why "a few days after the US" if I may ask? don't know where you're from but seems something quite amazing to request. Let's assume the movie was out in the US 1 week before France/Europe, would american posters here wait for a week if we asked them to? As much as I love my american friends, sorry but I honestly doubt that. @Gem]n[ yeah, I have no doubt about that! Was just away for ~10 days lately and so much new stuff. Will be nice to keep roaming on this site once the movie is out and stumble upon stuff you guys elegantly dug up "back in the ol'days"! Oh well, I think my nerves wouldn't have been up to such a wait, it's good I only got addicted recently!
