I wouldn't necessarily trust anything on Wikipedia. Anybody can make an quick edit which gets nuked hours later.

i dont see where we are getting Shaw turning in to a space jockey? it's obvious that the crew went to the engineers for answers and one of the crew steals the terraforming code from the engineers. this is what pisses off the jockey's in to unleashing the bio weapon. the engineer, not shaw, was in route to earth to unleash weapon.

No way Scott would try to pass off Shaw as the SJ in "Alien." No way Scott would try to pass off the ship in Prometheus, as the derelict. That is not how this movie ends.

@ Artyoh, I agree that the movie's ending does not lead there. I'm saying that we are expected to infer what occurred with the original juggernaut from what we see happen in this movie. LV-223 is the sight of a biotech equivalent to a nuclear meltdown. The original Juggernaut was filled with eggs because that was its payload. It never had urns with ampules inside them.

That wasn't necessarily directed at anyone in particular. I've been consistently saying that there are two ships since the beginning, for reasons that should have been obvious the very first time we got a look inside the juggernaut. The "one ship" theory has been like a vampire that just wouldn't stay down no matter how many stakes had been driven through it.

Before viewing the film i assumed the planet was in fact the one from Alien- and I still do! Space jockey is not in his seat at the end of Prometheus but that may be a pointless mystery (did he survive long enough to crawl back there...). Or a liberty taken with the continuity because it creates a surprise effect... I was wondering how one of Shaw's last sentence could be interpreted, is Shaw wondering why the engineers wanted to destroy man after creating it... Or why they changed their mind and let mankind live in the end ? Because I felt her quest to seek their planet was more a in hope that communication would bring her faith back( hence the crucifix) than with an intent at revenge! I dont expect a Prometheus 2 personnaly, this one is self sustaining and a good philosophical plot would be spoiled with answers.
