Why I dislike AVP and AVPR

@ David 1 Sounds about right lol I remember being so hyped about the avp movie...wow was i let down. Ah well at least I thoroughly enjoyed prometheus, i couldnt complain on that one.

@David Lol, wow great age analogy. Yeh the coming of the avp movies truly did act as a sign to the dark days. Gone was iconic horror, to be replaced by B-Movie, hollywood cheese that left a sour aftertaste

I just replay AvP2 Gold, loved it. Weyland Android was such a schmuck. The movies were on par with the Resident Evil movies... I really enjoy bad cinema. In fact I have bad cinema weekends once a month... do my art work and watch and listen to all the great action and dialogue. Why did AvP suck so bad; they took aliens for granted, like foxes to the hounds... they (the Aliens) are so much more than targets to collected around one's neck and be declared a adult Predator...

Space Jockey - Chr1s ....the [i]Aliens[/i] comic you speak of was [i][b]THE[/b][/i] very first Alien comic produced by Dark Horse Comics and I believe it 1989.....there were two runs, both titled [i]Aliens[/i], The first in six black and white issues has Hicks and Newt become part of a mission to the alien's home planet and earth becomes infested with them; the second in four color issues has them drifting through space and confronting a colonial military oufit planning to use the xeno as a means to retake earth from the infestation......Both were rather good reads and the artwork in the second in fantastic; it's four issue covers are stunningly beautiful and have captivated me since I first saw them on the shelf all those years ago.....
