Jesus theory - simply NOT true!

Ridley has stated that he CONSIDERED this theory.
CONSIDERED ONLY. So the theory is not true. They thought about it then steered clear. AND THANK HEAVENS THEY DID!
it's a tragically bad theory to try to wrap everything up into the Jesus being a frakking spaceman.
Do you agree?
EDIT- link to monotheism theory is... HERE

@The Truth...Oh no, no, no. They can deny it until the cows come home...and they will...they do.

@Jett
Agreed.
He is a revisionist. The SJ is a particularly notable example.
The reasons for his revisionism may often be well-founded - and the result something of a justification: but, often the reasons seem questionable and, either way, it is very revealing - and I have the view that the fact of that is not necessarily a very good thing.

.....back to the Jesus concept......
A 'being' was sent to earth & we tagged him with the name Jesus?

@Hadley's Hope...How does it fall apart? Not saying it doesn't. Just asking.

The whole "What if Jesus was an Engineer?" idea was goofy when they came up with it, and it's even more goofy now. No way they'll ever go there beyond the smell of a red herring.

@Amazing_Prometheus...jesus was not a massive bald headed Engineer for frak's sake!!!
They made humans...they could have made Jesus as well for frak's sake.

^Let them be, the only support for their contradiction is "it is stupid so its not true".
The only one who gave an actual reason was Hadley´s Hope.

@artyoh...The unicorn footage from "Legend" was added into the DC long after "Bladerunner" was in the can.

Ridiculous viewer assumption. Many people envolved in the production of Blade Runner have confirmed that the footage was shot for Blade Runner. Go read Future Noir and get the facts.

Engineering...that seems to be the question that was intended to be debated and pondered....I dont think that Ridley just let that slip out..OOOPS I drooled on myself, didnt mean that....I see it as calculating, deliberately so

How does the 'avenge Jesus' idea fall apart from the Hawai'an drawing?
Well,' Jesus' supposedly born 0 AD and died 33 AD... and Hawai'an drawing dated 647 years AFTER that... suggests to me that they didn't wipe us out in the 7th century after 'Jesus'. And suggests that the Juggernaut in the film was not planning to do so either. It is merely Shaw's imagination that makes this assumption based on her biased judgement, and her fear of what Davids very calculated and vague statement means.

I gotta run right now but someone go and start a thread in the Community Discussions section about Blade Runner. Another question and answer thread. Funny that questions are ok in Blade Runner but not in Prometheus. Nothing but the whites of my eyes are visible right now.

In an interviiew, David Peoples ( co-screenwriter for "Bladerunner" ) once claimed that it was footage from "Legend." Scott has claimed that it was shot for "Bladerunner" but producers were afraid it would "confuse" audiences, and that it was too "artsy" for the theatrical release. In any event, it wasn't in the original theatrical release, soooooo..........

I don't know why this is a big deal. RS said it was it was an original idea but didn't go with it. Probably because if he said Jesus was an alien, the movie would have been pegged as the Jesus is an alien movie instead of a sci-fi flick with aliens.
It seems to me that the people who are making a big deal about it are those who are disappointed that Jesus could have possibly been in the story line to begin with. Not from a religious/blasphemous how dare you kick Christianity meme but from those who just like to hate on Jesus.

@artyoh Another blurb I read at the time was that the Unicorn footage that was shot for Legend was inserted into BR for two purposes...one, to be a sort of embedded plug for Legend, and to attempt to back up Ridley's then brand new claim of Replicant status for Deckard.
From what I hear about a stormy relationship between the two men, I suspect this..Ridley had it in mind to get Ford to play Deckard as a Replicant... and Ford didnt go along with it, saw the story and script in a different way.
And Ford won, at the time a true MegaStar with enormous power, far more than the English director, top dog back home, but not in Hollywood. I think Ridley accidently created a lot of his own problems with Hollywood, which are now legend...and he didnt help change that this time around...he didnt bring much actual work to Hollywood..something that is deeply resented.
I don't think it's any accident that Gladiator won Oscars for actor, picture...but not director.

Its ok if you don´t believe it, some people just can´t handle the truth ;•)
What if the Xeno in the temple mural is the original fallen angel and the engineers are the nephilim( crossbreed of angels and daughters of men)
Original fallen angel was cast out because of his jealousy of man.
Main theme of movie - David's complex.
What if original fallen angel ( Xeno in mural worshipped by engineers) had plans to wipe out what Ridley calls (the emissary) 2000 years ago.
What if his failure resulted in ( the emissary completing his mission -saving humanity) and decided to make war with the remnant of the bloodline that ( the emissary) was born through.
Maybe that answers Shaws question " why do you hate us ? Why do you want to kill us?
Read revelations 12
Most people can't handle the Truth and will get furious when you try to imply someone may have used the greatest story ever told in the context of their sci- fi movie. After all it's the last place they have to hide from the Truth. In the Dark.

yeah i think it is kind of implied but not necessarily true. and i do feel that this theory should get a little less crap then it does, yes it sound ridicules at first but that's the only reason why you dont like it, because it sound ridicules lol but when you think about it its not actually that ridicules.
