Engineers and the Annunaki

The Engineers (Mala'kak) and the Annunaki are somewhat similar, not just because one is a mesopotamian diety and the other is godlike, but for those who are into ancient astronaut theory and ufology the Annunaki are these highly intellegent extraterritrials who came to earth to do what they need to do or something like that and that they are the creator of the greys(so what i heard and read) and are responsible for the Martian Ruinsin Mars, kinda similar to the what the Engineers created the Xenomorph as bio-weapons , they (the Engineers) can be a referance to the Annunaki [or i could be wrong] to the film. It'll be an interesting argument to know that the film makers probably use the annunaki as an example? I dont know if there is a topic like this one, if there is, i apologize.
