The Triangle Symbol and the Dragon's Eye

Good catch on the "Y" symbol being related to the choice between good and evil!

In some of the company's logos, their winged globe symbol is made to look more like a cross between 3 triangles and a Y.

This topic has caused me to consider the sacred geometry present in the symbols a little differently.  I didn't notice just how many triangles there are everywhere before this.  We even saw the logo and triangles in David's fingerprint design.

It definitely suggests to me that a lot of thought was put into designing the symbols this way, with the W also being able to be viewed as 3 triangles.  The ancient name for the Y symbol was spelled "waw," so again we can view from the perspective of a W.  You can even sort of get an Alpha symbol out of it, if you invert the symbol.  The hieroglyphs on LV-223 have a number of triangles and an ancient version of the "Y" in them as well.  I'm starting to think the company knew about the Engineers before Shaw made her proposal.  

It's becoming clear Weyland-Yutani's corporate culture, or at least Peter Weyland himself, has some sort of belief system.

Ancient symbols. Triangle, Pyramid, etc. - powerful archetypes that affect the mind. The story begins long before the history of Prometheus. Peter Weyland knew for sure.

Interesting indeed about some of the Philosophical/Religious connections and i am sure some of these at least had some thought go into them.

As far as the Triangles though, its one of those things where who knows if these are coincidental or was put there on purpose to make some connections.

Certainly interesting to have a look at them and have rise a few debates from them.

And on the emblem, of course, symbols. The same ancient Sumerian wings.

Well, weyland made out he was dead, but was alive in a suprise twist in prometheus, same for shaw???

Indeed it was very interesting how the Derelict looked like a Egyptian Funeral Barge, never mind the Babylonian connections with Motifs in the Franchise.

I find it just fitting that with Prometheus they tried to tie in the Ancient Astronaut angle, i find it very interesting that in Real Life we see many shared themes and motifs throughout various ancient cultures as far as Mythos and Religions.

Makes you wander if there is a True Connection

Triangle Numerology

I'm not big on numerology but I am constantly having to work in statistics in my field.  So math is all around me, everyday so figured it might be an interesting read as it kind of relates to your dragons eye.
