@BigDave - the lander shot 2nd from last, there is another shot of it with an object in the foreground.  

im going to say that it may be a ships mast with a carved wooden head, possibly representing something to do with elders, or not

it would be great if it was a pirate type ship, where you just know its bad beings being evil on the waters.

obviously it maybe a fishing or way to travel to the city as we suspect its massive.  this would give another dimension??
