Alien Facebook overload!!!

I am not on FB so cannot relate. It sounds like a lot of different types want a chunk of your time and attention. Sorry- I was on FB in 2006 and bailed when too many people threw baby pics and Farm Game BS invites in my face. I don't understand FB.

I do my best to control the chaos lol!I have a woping 5 friends on it and that's the way I like it .I use as my personal news feed thus the Alien bombardment I am receiving.It's also fairly new.I have it for nearly year and only recently became active on it.

I guess I am as guilty of being on this forum like others are on FB so go figure.

That type of BS and "friends" wanting me to comment on their kids' pictures drove me away from FB and I will never go back. If you get a friend request on FB it won't be from me- I will PM you from here with any questions/comments.

Facebook...tried it, and NOPE, never going back. Forums like this, much more my speed and comfort level :)

Good God!The most annoying thing I've put up with thus far is that random person.Keeps telling who they are friends with and I could give a Fuck less!That's why they are going to be purged as soon as I figure out how to do it

When quitting FB, there is a two week period that you have to not sign on before it goes away. Upon leaving, I changed my avatar to this:

@dk I knew I like you for a reason ;). We are anti FB as well. 

I have unfollowed most of it as I'm trying to go in fresh (apart from the Alien Day footage - OMFG!), But throughout production and until recently I had a ton of Alien and old Prometheus stuff.

Now I'm avoiding everything, including here (obviously, not successfully), so as not to inadvertently spoil myself.

I have quite a few friends in the entertainment industry, and involved with organising comic cons and getting into costume. I am also involved in community projects, so from that perspective I find Facebook a useful tool and that’s it. It is just a tool in my eyes. I think for small traders and performing artists is has become a necessary evil in the armoury of marketing. I know a few who have been posting about Alien covenant on FB, but they are really in the minority. With the rest of the FB population it is like trying to explain gravity to a chicken.

Same here BatchPool.I have only 3 family members and the girlfriend on mine.Other than that I use as my personal news feed for everything from sports,music news (heavy metal to be specific)and of course Alien news.Just on it and clicked a Scified link to get here lol.
