OK so David had to cut his hair to be more like his "twin."

They show him cutting his hair in broad hacks.

Before you know it, his hair is neatly cut just like Walter's.

How'd he do that? Oh OK, more suspension of disbelief required ;)

I will say one thing.

It's been about 24 hours now since I saw the film, and it is not leaving my conscious, to the point where I think I may have to see it again. There were enough great moments that it is a bit hard to get out of the system, mine anyway.

I'll feel a LOT better if the next film is somehow called "The Awakening" and at least partially refers to Daniels and McBride waking again...

I did hear that awakening was the prequel to covenant. It's the web so who knows what is true about that right now except the people working on it.

It was clarified later that Scott simply spoke out of turn when listing the films. It will be a sequel, not prequel, to Covenant.

There were lots of plot holes or whatever in A:C, but I'm pretty sure their hair just actually grows, and so it needs to be cut.

He can speak every known language and sink 3 pointers while riding a bicycle, so I'd assume he could probably manage a pretty nice self haircut hah.

Awakening is the sequel to A:C. Alan Dean Foster's novel Origin will be the prequel.

oceantracks Or maybe he used acid from a facehugger to sharpen the blades. Ask a predator, they know how to use the byproducts of the aliens lol

@ Tom that's what I was saying but didn't say it. We went through all that in Prometheus.

Really anxious to read the reactions of Friday night, and the whole weekend, audiences here in the US....

The only thing I really care about is the film makes enough money so we can watch the next one. Hopefully the next one answers the questions and we are all happy:)

It already made over 40 million worldwide before US release, I don't think it will be a problem. Didn't cost much to make...98 million or something?

There is a lot of negativity for sure. This is one of the funniest reviews on imdb:

Fassbender didn't jerk off this much in Shame

This whole movie is just Michael Fassbender reciting 1800s poetry to Michael Fassbender. This movie is 7 minutes of good CGI and 2 hours of rolling your eyes.

I think one of it's biggest problems was construction. The 2nd act just couldn't live up to ACT ONE, which was amazing. The pace dropped to almost a standstill in the second act.

By the time the long, slow ACT TWO was over, there wasn't much time left back on the ship to do much but end it. Now that was true of ALIENS as well, but ALIENS was constructed so that ACT ONE was all build up, ACT TWO was insanity, and ACT THREE was more insanity. Once the rollercoaster got going, it didn't stop.

In this film, the coaster gets going, stops, then gets going for ten more minutes.

It is what it is. I'm glad it's out there, and may go again.
